We spent the winter here. It’s in a quiet area, most houses well maintained. It’s between Ft. Pierce & Vero Beach. Shopping, beaches, entertainment, hiking/biking & good restaurants within a 15 min. drive. Nearby Summer Crush Winery and Riverside Park provided at least 6 opportunities for live music per week. Our host, Alain was ALWAYS quick to respond & gracious. The house is older. There’s a 2 car garage for car/truck parking, storage & a nice laundry area. The W/D were a definite plus! We bought drinking water & refilled a provided water cooler as needed. The slightly discolored well water was only noted in the toilets at times. I never had a problem when doing laundry but there was iron buildup on some of the kitchen glassware and in the bottom of the dishwasher. Drawbacks to the house were dated & worn kitchen/primary BR. The appliances functioned but the stove & oven were old. The countertop & linoleum were worn & marred. The kitchen was adequately equipped. I never saw any bugs inside.
The living and dining rooms were open with comfy furniture. The internet was provided & worked well. The TV is streamed. We ordered YouTubeTV. The 2 bedrooms were big. We opted for the guest room. The primary had no closet & limited bathroom storage. Cosmetically the walls & ceiling need spackling & painting.
BEST PART:screened in,covered back porch w/heated pool! Swam, read, listened to birds there daily. After we settled in & learned the house's nuances, we found it a great place!
