The cabin was very clean and as a expected. There were all amenities that we needed and we liked that there were two bathrooms. Drinking water was provided, since there was a well (water)maintence happening during our stay. We would stay at this cabin again if it were available. The hosts were very friendly and addressed any questions promtly.
It is very obvious that the owners of this property have invested in the beauty and upkeep of this property. Everything was made with the guests in mind. My wife and I loved the location as it was 35 minutes to Yellowstone and also allowed us to visit places like the Grand Tetons. The lodge was very clean in a rustic setting.
We spent our Fourth of July weekend and really enjoyed this cabin! I’d dare say it was better than described.
It was so cozy and fully equipped.
The garage space was perfect for storing our trailer and side by side.
Plenty of space for loading up and easy in and out access.
We definitely recommend to others and we plan on returning soon!
We had been talking about a trip to Yellowstone for a very long time. Finally we decided to make it happen this year. The accommodations at Buffalo Lodge could not have been better for the 7 of us. 2 bedrooms and a loft with 4 beds, so could sleep 12. 2 full baths. High quality home about 30 minutes from the West entry to Yellowstone. We used the full kitchen, washer & dryer, TV, Wi-Fi and grill. All worked great! Owners were just a text message away with any questions. Very responsive. Highly recommend this gem!
This could not have been a better spot! From start to finish of the booking and stay Stacie was so easy to work with. I had many questions as we were coming from MA, and just after the flood, and she was so available. The house was perfect! We had more beds than we needed but it was great. Plenty of room and all the comforts of home. The kitchen is fully stocked and even with stuff other guests have left that you don’t want to buy but need. Tons of towels and all in great shape and clean. The area was perfect to get to YNP and we even did a day trip to Jackson. We stayed one day in IP and did horseback riding and rented an ATV. I highly recommend the Meadow Vue rodeo as well. I could not have been happier with the house.
The Buffalo Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The accommodations are accurately described and the owners are great to work with. It is in a great location providing many options for outdoor activities- Yellowstone National Park, ATV rentals, Harriman State Park, Henry Lake, fishing, hiking, Sawtelle Peak, Bishop Mountain, Big Sky Resort in Montana, ... and many more. One week is not long enough if you truly want to experience this area! After a long day of exploring, it was wonderful to be able to go back to Buffalo Lodge and utilize the amenities of a home.
We had a lovely time staying in this house that could easily accommodate a large family. It was very well laid out and well equipped. Of all the places we stayed in the Yellowstone area this was our favorite. Would highly recommend.
10 of us, grandparents, parents and 4 kids meet at the cabin for a 5 day vacation. The cabin was perfect for our gathering. The kitchen was very well equipped. The only negative there was no kettle (we are big hot tea drinkers). The beds were comfortable and the cottage was cozy and had lots of space. Overall, we enjoy our stay!
