This very pretty cottage in Normandy is very characteristic of the area and has retained its authenticity. This seasonal rental is designed for families and therefore invites you to rest away from the noise of the main roads. The garden offers space for your summer meals as well as for a nap in the sun and allows children to play in complete safety. Not far from Rouen, its cathedral and its great clock, you can explore from this vacation home the natural park of the Seine loops, painted by many impressionists. In the area you can also visit some of the most beautiful abbeys and other architectural heritage. Also explore the Palace of Versailles (less than an hour and a half away) or faln through the lively streets of the famous Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville, which you can reach in less than an hour.

Disappointed

The house itself is very nice with plenty of space and very rustic. Lovely fireplace and plenty of hot water (there were 7 of us). However the house is in need of attention. Lots of the facilities need replacing. Broken chairs in the lounge, washing machine did not work, most of the garden furniture unusable. One of the bathrooms had extensive mould, a blocked sink and broken door. The bedding and towels are in need of replacement. The carpets are stained and worn. The house needs a deep clean, it's covered in old cob webs and we had an infestation of flies for days. We were disappointed with the visit as a whole.

Erholungsaufenthalt

Großzügiges Haus, alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten - eigenwilliger Charme und schön angelegter Garten. Die vom Vermieter vorab zugeschickten Informationen waren sehr hilfreich, ebenso die im Haus vorhandenen Informationsordner. Ein Aufenthalt, der uns gefallen hat.

Von außen ein Traum, von innen naja...

Die Bilder waren top, wenn man dann vor Ort ist, bekommt man einen anderen Eindruck. Der Garten und das Grundstück sind wirklich toll. Es gibt eine sehr schöne Terasse, aber leider keine schönen Gartenmöbel, einen Gartentisch haben wir gefunden. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Schlüsselübergabe etc. war reibungslos. Die Küche ist zwar gut ausgestattet, aber wirkt schmuddelig und braucht eine Generalüberholung. Alles riecht muffig, die Matratzen sind durchgelegen. Menschen mit Rückenproblemen haben es schwer.
