Great location

It really is super close to the beach! Chris and Michelle were very responsive too any questions i had. I love that they had boogie boards, beach towels, and chairs avaliable. We would definitely stay here again

Amazing beach vacation

We had a wonderful time at the beach house. Just steps to the sand, amazing views, and a wonderful place to stay. Chris and Michelle were very responsive and available for questions, help, and recommendations on things to do or places to eat. We will definitely be back!

Quiet

We picked this property for the peaceful neighborhood. The beach is just steps away ! Chris and Michelle were helpful in mailing restaurant recommendations. Sunset Beach is one of my favorite places to visit while in Southern CA

Perfect Location

Our overall stay was really nice. Michelle is the sweetest and so easy to communicate with. The beach house is perfectly setup to comfortably accommodate 3 families and the Murphy bed in the dining/living area is an extra sleeping space. We had everything we could possibly need including sand toys, house toys, towels, chairs etc. The kitchen is well stocked with EVERYTHING. The beds were comfy and there’s A/C units in each room including living room. The deck was so nice, spent a lot of time out there and you can see the ocean from it as well as the living room. There’s a liquor store on the corner about 100 steps away. Super convenient to get a bite to eat at several restaurants within walking distance. We walked to Peter’s Landing and ate at Pelican Isle more than once - great menu, great food. There’s a Mother’s Market across the street (PCH). We ate at Harbor House and Woody’s both takeout and ate in. We never had to leave the vicinity and we played a little musical parking with the spaces in front of the beach house so our family had good parking…when a spot opened up we would move our car that was parked in carport to the open spot then move back to carport when family arrived. Parking can be a challenge otherwise. Access to washer and dryer was nice. TV has all the apps and it’s a nice TV. Because you are located on the street that has all the green belt parking it is not quiet. We heard every genre of music from cars/trucks/motorcycles driving by as well as pedestrian traffic. There were a few places under construction or remodels so that was noisy too. The house needs some love and attention in terms of deep cleaning and editing of decor but, I spoke privately with Michelle and she’s on it and was happy to hear the feedback. So, if you don’t mind the noise and the if the house gets the attention it needs, this place will be perfect.

Surprise 70th birthday family gathering

Amazing location a short walk to the beach. 5 adults, 2 children fit beautifully in the property. The lower floor has 2 attached bedrooms with their own baths & was perfect for the parents and two children. The upper bedroom was very nice for the birthday couple. Murphy bed was cute and worked well for the single adult. Nicely furnished kitchen! Very clean property. One negative - the BBQ grill on the deck was very dirty and rusty. It worked, but only because my husband figured out how to very carefully blow on and light each individual burner. Owner very responsive to all communication. Would definitely use again!!

Perfect

Loved this property. It is so comfortable, feels livable, and like a real family vacation home. It has everything you could need from plenty of towels (bath and beach), fully stocked kitchen, and extras such as beach gear (chairs, skim and boogie boards, wetsuits, coolers, etc.). The location was perfect for us as we wanted to be central to LA, Newport Beach, and Anaheim. Easy to get to all of those places and great access to restaurants and stores all while being steps from the beach. The area felt very safe and not too busy. The hosts replied quickly when we messaged and we had absolutely no issues during our stay. The thoughtful items left in the fridge were a nice surprise. We will definitely be back!

Beachliving Condo

Very beach-y two-story condo with a view of the ocean in Sunset Beach California (between Huntington Beach and Seal Beach). There is beach access across from the condo. Owners Michelle and Chris are the perfect hosts. They are right next door and ready to help as needed. The condo can sleep 10 with three bedrooms and bathrooms (and a murphy bed in the living room), a full kitchen, spacious living and dining rooms, and an outdoor second story deck over a parking space. The kitchen is well appointed with dishes, glassware, cookware, etc. The hosts thought of everything, and we found wine and cookies on arrival.

Steps from the sand! Will defintely come back!

We absolutely loved our stay! Our group consisted of two families of 5, with teens and kids. Having the two levels provided the separation and privacy, with ample common areas in the Family room and outdoor patio to gather comfortably. This property is steps from the sand, which is SO helpful for beach days to be so close for restrooms and food. House comes with (2) designated parking spots, but having free public parking is so convenient as well. Plenty of Supermarkets close by and Costco 15 minutes away. House has lots of beach towels, chairs and unbrellas as well as boogie boards. Michelle and Chris were so attentive and great hosts!

Nice unit with great location

Stayed here on a family vacation with 4 kids, 2 parents, 2 grandparents and the unit met our needs as far as space goes. It was nice to have the multi level to spread us out and the deck was a great outdoor living space. No major complaints, a few items could be improved but have messaged owner privately. We would return.

Family getaway

Property is nicely maintained, well-stocked with essentials, location was amazing, steps from beach, with a great greenbelt walkway and tons of eateries near by. Owners were fantastic and attentive without being intrusive (thank you Michelle and Chris). Wish we could have stayed longer. No doubt we'll rent this place again!
