NOTE: Currently we only provide a long term accommodation (1 month or longer) due to the local regulations. Planning to re-open short term rentals by Spring 2025.
Our cozy cottage in a peaceful lakeside community is the perfect place for your relaxing family vacation. Our guests have access to a beautiful semi-private beach only shared between a few houses in the community, located just few minutes walk away across the park. The cottage has a huge backyard with a fire pit and a playground, facing a community park which will give you all the space you want for outdoor activities.
The house provides the comfortable stay for everyone – it has a spacious living room with reclining couches and a 50” smart TV, a large fully equipped kitchen, office and two beautiful bedrooms with comfortable beds. On the lower level there is a cozy family room with a fireplace and another TV and another large bedroom with a queen bed.
Our large patio with the large dining table and lots of seating is perfect for enjoying your outdoor meals.
This is a terrific location for being as active or relaxed as you want. With plenty to see and do in the area - Presquile Provincial Park within a short distance, and popular Sandbanks beaches a 40 minute drive - as well as the picturesque towns of Brighton, Cobourg and Port Hope close by, you won't be short of things to do.

Vacances en famille

Belle et grande maison; à 3 minutes de la plage! Tres propre, tres tranquille, à 5 minutes du centre-ville de Brighton. Bonne communication avec Marina car nous avons eu un petit problème qui a été réglé tres rapidement. Si on décidait de retourner en vacances a cette plage pour une semaine ce serait dans cette maison! Nous avons très apprécié notre sejour.

Getaway near the water

Amazing house. Incredibly clean from top to bottom. Large bedrooms beautiful backyard close to the water and beach. Host was fantastic to deal with great communication everything as described and even let us check in early! Would highly recommend to anyone with kids or family’s alike! Would love to go back. Thanks again! 5⭐️

Absolutely perfect !

We went for a girls weekend away and had a great time. The house is spotless and beautiful. The walk to the beach is a 2 min stroll….very relaxing. The neighbours are friendly. The host Marina was always quick to respond and so kind and courteous. We will definitely be back….honestly , this is a perfect vacation spot!

Great amenities for a reasonable price

We stayed for a girls getaway and we weren’t disappointed. The owner is quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating. She also followed up with us to see if we were enjoying our stay. That was a first for me. This property is good value for your money compared to other properties with the same amenities in nearby PEC. It can really compete with its’ hot tub, large backyard, 2 min walk to pebble beach and lots of privacy. A better assortment of kitchen utensils and an upgrade to dining chairs would make it even better. Nevertheless we had a comfortable stay.

Great family getaway!

We were very happy with our stay! The property was very clean when we arrived and the host was quick to answer any questions and helpful information is left in the home. The neighbourhood is very quiet and friendly and only 3 minutes from Presquile park which we visited daily (reserve online in advance!). We have 2 children 6 and 8 years old and also stayed with my in-laws and this place had something for everyone - peace and quiet anf plenty of room for the kids to play outside, close to beaches (sand beach in the provincial park or a access to a rocky beach across the road with great sunset views) and a readonable distance to PEC wineries, breweries, restaurants etc!

Exceptionally clean and welcoming!

We stayed at Summer Breeze cottage during the cold weekend in March. The house was sparkling clean (I usually take Lysol wipes when travel, to clean the toilets and countertops - didn't even take them out!), the furniture nicely spread out so everyone had a comfy place to sit, the kitchen had all possible pans and utensils. The weather was far from great, but the house was warm, 2 fireplaces created ambiance and the Hot Tub was amazing! The hosts respond quickly on any message with clear and courteous answers. We enjoyed our getaway and would recommend this cottage to families, couples or group of friends!
