Welcome to the Mount Washington Valley Riverhouse! Recently updated and located right at the banks of the Saco River, this home comfortably sleeps 8 and is the perfect location for all-season getaways. The home is in Bartlett NH, 10 minutes from restaurants and shopping in North Conway, 5 minutes from Story Land and minutes from a multitude of ski and hiking mountains. The open floor plan with a large kitchen features a large harvest table perfect for family meals and board games. The spacious great room has sweeping views of the Saco River and a woodfired stove. The home sits on over an acre with a flat private river rock beach 50 feet from the back deck.
The home is in a residential community that has deeded rights to a private sandy beach which is a 2-minute walk from the home. The neighborhood also has a trail that follows the Saco River up one mile. We love walking up this trail then tubing right back to the home! In addition to these great features, there is also a hiking trail head right on our road to Mount Stanton.
All four bedrooms are located on the lower level in addition to an office with a daybed.

We are a young family and owner/operators who have been in the area for 10+ years. The home has gone through recent renovations, but we still consider the home to be a "camp." If you are looking for a cozy home at a perfect location, this is your place! If you are looking for absolute perfection or a 5-star hotel-like experience, this might not be the home for you. This is a family home in a quiet neighborhood- loud/late night parties will not be tolerated, also no bachelor/bachelorette parties. This property has a ring camera outside the front door.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, comfy, homey stay! Perfect location, with all the amenities you need, and an amazing view. Great for families, or a couples escape. The owners were wonderful, quick communication and great recommendations for local eateries and activities. Our family had the most relaxing and adventurous time, and cannot wait to go back again soon! Pack a bag and go!
Three generations stayed here and all enjoyed the house so much. We explored, swam, tubed, grilled and more. Perfect location for what we wanted.
Brendan was responsive to all our communication and we'd stay again!
Our families 2nd time staying at your home on the Saco, it never disappoints! We had beautiful weather, and the best time on the River! The most relaxing enjoyable trip! Thank you for sharing your home!
The Dolan Family
This is a really cool spot nestled away so much to do just at the river. Beautiful view.
Check in was really easy and the host was very helpful.
The house itself is perfect a lot of character that you'd want in a camp on the water spot.
I really enjoyed my stay with family. Property was everything I expected and more! Plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen and living room are spacious and so pretty. Kitchen had everything we needed. We loved using the electric skillet to cook up dinner and then enjoy on the deck or at the huge dining room table with a view. Quiet, safe neighborhood. The house is a 5 min walk to a sandy beach. We used the utility road to walk up and then float down the river all the way back to the house! You will not be disappointed! The location is unmatched. Not only on the river but also only 5-10 mins from gas, grocery store and other attractions. Host was extremely responsive.
Fantastic stay right on the Saco! Nothing more relaxing than listening to the river and being able to take nice walk along the river to so many great spots right from your door. Location was perfect - close to amazing hiking, quick drive to the Kancamagus, close to North Conway. I imagine the summer would be perfect to take the tubes down the river. House itself was great - very homey. Only three of us were there, but definitely could fit more people comfortably. Host Brendan was always available and prompt in getting back to me to answer any questions from the time of booking up until we left. One of our best weeks up in the mountains - only wish we could have stayed longer!
Beautiful and convenient location right on the Saco with lots of privacy. The house was very nice with everything you would need and more. Very nicely furnished and cozy. Owner was very responsive regarding a minor issue. Definitely would love to stay at Birchview again.
Our stay at this cabin was nothing short of perfect! From the booking to the check out, Brendan was super helpful and responsive. This is without a doubt the best place for a trip away from life’s everyday stress, sitting on the deck and listening to the Saco flowing creates instant relaxation! We will definitely be renting this house again!
Great location, great views, very comfortable home.
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious and exactly as advertised. We were able to bike, hike and enjoy the river right from our doorstep. Brendan was super friendly and responsive. We wished we could have stayed longer.
This is a great house for a family or small group. We walked up the road with tubes and floated home, fished, hunted for river rock treasures and relaxed. The owners have clearly worked hard to renovate the house and it is comfortable with plenty of comfortable beds. There are a few unfinished projects, old appliances and campy quirks, but we had everything we needed for a great week.
