We stayed at Boxwwod Inn for the weekend while in town for a family reunion. We had 11 (6 adults, 5 children) in our group and the house accommodated us quite comfortably. We would definitely stay here again!
We found the house to be spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make a family dinner. There was plenty of room in the living room for family to sit and chat. Bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and nice linens. Also, there was plenty of parking in the rear of the house that could accommodate more than our 4 cars. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.
If you are looking for an amazing property and hosts, this is the place for you! All of the bedrooms are very spacious, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need, plenty of seating in the main dining and breakfast area to spread out, the living room was great for decompressing after a long day on the trails, and we enjoyed several fires by the pit outback. The history behind the property is very interesting!
We had a group of 8 including 3 trucks and trailers and 4 side by sides. The parking accommodated all very easily. The host were super helpful with helping me figure out the ATV routes in town since it was our first trip. This house is literally a mile from a trailhead.
Conveniently located within a mile of a gas station which you can easily get to via ATV for a daily refuel. A major grocery is within 3 miles and we also enjoyed a night at a local Mexican restaurant.
I can not recommend this property enough if you are looking for a getaway! We will definitely visit again in the near future!
The home was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. We didn’t realize how big the house was. Would love to know the history about the home. The beds were very comfortable too. We would definitely recommend this home.
Amazing house with lots of history. Looks deceivingly small on the outside. Clean from top to bottom. Large parking area for our 28 foot trailer and truck. Was able to drive out SxS’s into town for camp and the trail system was super handy. Todd was super responsive a month before our check-in, helping us to plan accordingly. Check-in was super easy and everything was as described. Loved our long weekend here.
This was the perfect house for our Family weekend at the lake. The house is only a 15 minute drive to our boat at Powell Valley Marina. Grocery stores are close by. The bedrooms are large, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. There plenty of dining space. The house is spotless, and the decor is fabulous. We will definitely be returning!
The house had such wonderful charm throughout it! There was plenty of room for our entire family to sleep and to eat together. We loved the integrity that was preserved throughout the home in style and decoration. We enjoyed the fire pit at night while roasting marshmallows! Overall, we had a comfortable place to settle down in the evenings after a day full of activities on the lake!
This craftsman home was Perfect for our get together. The design and decor details were gorgeous! The room sizes-huge! Beds SO comfortable. Plenty of parking space. Very CLEAN!! We enjoyed an afternoon at Chapman Hill Winery while in the area. I hope to go back sometime with family.
This place is SO beautiful, we all felt so at home and just in love with old framework and quality of a 100 year old house will all modern and amazing decor… this will be our new go to stay for riding trips!
This is a great rental! It is located close to great restaurants, a coffee shop, trail access to Royal Blue and very close to Tackett creek trails. The house is very nice, and the beds were very comfortable.
We will definitely be renting again!
We all loved our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful with all the original wood work and architecture maintained. The rooms were very spacious and we loved the ample parking since we brought boats/trailers with us.
Awesome property to get away and enjoy riding tackett creek or ride royal blue. Great location close to the trail head so no trailering required from this property. Clean home with lots of space and lots of character. Close to convince store and gas station for all your offroad adventure needs. Best property we have stayed @ to ride.
Went down for our annual riding trip. The house is right in town with trail access, no need to trailer your unit. House was very spacious with plenty of room for 6 guys. Will definitely be staying here again
We will be coming back. Property is close to everything, Trails Food and Norris Lake. The house is fantastic. Very spacious and has charm, I LOVE the architectural details. Bedrooms are HUGE. My Husband 2 sisters and 2 nephews had plenty of space not bother one another. Another bonus is that this house has a mud room. Every evening when we would get back from riding we would get undressed in the mud room so that the house stayed clean. Internet and cell service work flawlessly. We ALWAYS had service when we were at the house. Our next trip here we will defiantly be staying here again. Tiffani & Todd we Fantastic. Thanks for all your recommendations.
