Pleasant Country Retreat Near Soure, Portugal

We enjoyed our stay at the Casa da Passarinha near Soure, Portugal. José, the owner, was very helpful with information about seeing the local sites of Conímbriga, Coimbra and the Castle of Montemor-o-Velho. The Castle of Soure is in the nearby town as well, and the community of Soure is where the closest grocery stores and gas station are located. It takes a bit of maneuvering to get to the Casa da Passarinha, but it was well worth staying at a nice place surrounded by 17-acres of olive orchards and vineyards. It was helpful to use Google maps and save them on your device offline, and it also helps to have coordinates for wherever you may be going in the region too. We found the Portuguese people to be welcoming and hospitable overall, and definitely recommend this place to those planning on staying in central Portugal. Thanks again and obrigado!

Casa da Passarinha

Wir haben hier einen perfekten Familienurlaub verbracht, ein großes Haus mit viel Platz (klimatisiert im Sommer und beheizt im Winter), einem Pool und einem großen Spielplatz für die Kinder extra im Schatten. In dem hauseigenen Garten gibt es alles an Obst und Gemüse zum selber ernten. Perfekt zum entspannen und gleichzeitig austoben für die Kinder. Man sollte allerdings ein Auto haben um Ausflüge o.ä. zu machen, wir durften unseren Tesla kostenlos vor der Türe laden, noch über den Hausanschluss aber demnächst über eine Wallbox.

Perfekt

Wir haben hier eine wunderbare Zeit verbracht. Begeistert waren wir schon beim Empfang. Unser Vermieter Tomas hat uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen und war bei Fragen jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Seinen Ratschlägen zur Erkundung der Umgebung sind wir gerne gefolgt. Hilfreich vor allem für unsere Ausflüge u.a. nach Fatima oder Porto. Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel und außerordentlich sauber. Das Anwesen ist grandios, lauschig, weiträumig und liebevoll gestaltet (Pool, Teiche). Am Gemüse- und Gewürzgarten durften wir uns jederzeit bedienen. Fantastisch, alles Bio. Highlight: der selbst hergestellte Wein. Fazit: Ruhe, wundervolle Umgebung, Sonne = Paradies. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Gaby und Barbara

On ne pouvait pas rêver mieux. La maison est très bien, propre, avec tout ce qu'il faut que ce soit en cuisine ou produit d'hygiène. C'est très calme, pas un bruit. Le propriétaire est d'une extrême amabilité et disponible si besoin. Je recommande à mes proches. Obrigado José

La casa tiene absolutamente de todo. Tomas se preocupó de dejarnos fruta y más cositas para que el primer día no nos faltara de nada. En otras casas esto no ocurre. Las vistas fantásticas y La Paz de los alrededores es perfecta para el descanso. Por la zona mucho que ver y comer. La gastronomía Portuguese es maravillosa ( cantidad y calidad) Una casa muy recomendable.

5 * - O Paraíso Rural

Nós ficámos apaixonados pela beleza exterior da casa, desde o lago com as rãs e os peixes, as árvores de fruto, a horta biológica, a cascata, o vasto espaço verde para as crianças correrem e brincarem, etc. Além do lindíssimo exterior, a casa em si está muito bem equipada ao pormenor: bolachas, shampoos, fruta e vinho para nosso próprio consumo. Está muito bem preparada para receber crianças: os baloiços, espreguiçadeiras, a piscina, o grande jardim. O proprietário é impecável, muito atencioso e prestável. Gostámos muito do facto de a casa estar isolada de outras, de sentirmos a nossa privacidade; de poder levar os nossos animais de estimação e de, além de todos os equipamentos do exterior, de ter matraquilhos. A localização era muito boa, estávamos no meio do campo e daí tínhamos uma grande privacidade, mas achamos que apenas nos faltava um café para ir buscar pão na aldeia (de apenas vinte habitantes), ou um minimercado, pois para irmos buscar pão e comida, tínhamos de ir a Soure (o que ficava a 20 minutos). Além de termos piscina, pensávamos que era maior, o que não deixa de ser um entretém para as crianças se molharem e divertirem. A TV tinha apenas os canais básicos portugueses, visto que com crianças, nem sempre é fácil entretê-las sem Desenhos Animados (mas o imenso espaço exterior compensa este ponto de vista). Não havia Wi-Fi (Internet). Funcionários 10,0 Limpeza 7,5 Localização 10,0 Comodidades 10,0 Conforto 7,5 Relação preço/qualidade 10,0
