This darling cabin is nestled right in the heart of the Cumberland Plateau in a quaint and cozy gated community. You will absolutely love the views and the rolling pastures right outside your door step. This cozy cabin has everything you need for a weekend or an extended vacation stay. Plenty of room for everyone, this cabin has a cozy area downstairs by the fire and a family room upstairs that is great for spreading out and enjoying games and watching movies.
For those hot summer days be sure to visit Falls Creek Falls State Park and their Olympic-sized pool with children’s wading pool, bathhouses and a snack bar. Lifeguards on Duty. Open 10am-5:30pm June/July Daily – August Weekends Only - $6 pp, per day; children 2 and under free. Beautiful Fall Creek Falls State Park is also home to 21 waterfalls, 4 suspension bridges, lakes, and hiking trails. Other hiking favorites are: Savage Falls, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, Virgin Falls and more. There are also multiple local fishing spots, backroads and walking trails to explore. Other notable attractions are: Bone's Cave (16 mi), Cumberland Caverns (18mi), Falcon's Rest (20 mi), and Rock Island State Park (22 mi). perfect location near Fall creek falls state park

Great location but a tired cabin in need of a refit. Cleanliness was an issure; floors were not clean. Furniture in kitchen and common areas is old and worn.

Great place close to Fall Creek Falls State Park

House was as described, check in and out was easy. The house is secluded and private. Very close to Fall Creek Falls State Park which was perfect for us after spending Saturday hiking in the park.

Beautiful place

Found dirty underwear in couch upstairs and some dirty dishes in cabinet couldn’t sit on couch downstairs cause left side seemed to be broke and we didn’t wanna get in trouble for it and couldn’t even have Easter dinner outside with family cause host sad no so other than staying to sleep we had to go somewhere else to hang and stuff just wasn’t working right here but it’s a lovely place just to stay for a day or two

Cabin

This property was on a gorgeous setting in a very nice neighborhood. It was decorated quaint and cozy. You could tell it has had some rough tenants that have mistreated things. I’d also say it only comfortably houses 4 people, maybe 5. The upstairs pullout needed a better mattress, even for my 13 year old son (or just bring an air mattress.). The hot tub, fire pit, and rocking chairs were perfect and we had an amazing time.

We enjoyed our stay with minor expectations. Cabin needs to be better cleaned. We had experienced a wasp infestation. We killed as many as we could. But cabin needs a spring cleaning. Cob webs and very dusty. Furniture and rugs need to be cleaned. Nice location and enjoyed the horses and views.

Nice cabin

We enjoyed the cabin, however we did not enjoy freezing because there was no heat. I would not recommend staying at the cabin during the winter. Spring and Summer would be ideal time especially close to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Why have a fireplace if the electric insert does not produce enough heat? There are gaps between the exterior doors and windows. Not enough insulation. We enjoyed the fire pit. The jacuzzi had a terrible smell to it. We didn’t use it. Wi-Fi was okay for the location. Overall, we give it a 3.

Responsive Property Management

The person responsible for the listing was super responsive and nicely provided answers when asked...including where to find firewood. The property is beautiful and sits in a quite little neighborhood. We enjoyed our visit!!!

Quiet and secluded

We needed a couple of days to just reconnect as a family, and this cabin (in its location) did not disappoint. Great hiking nearby. Quiet neighborhood to rest at night.

Just what we needed...

I originally rented this cabin as a weekend getaway for just me and the hubby, unfortunately things come up and he wasnt able to come. I didn't want to cancel so I took our 10 year old son with me. We had a blast and absolutely loved the cabin. The view is magical. He loved watching the horses from the front porch and the sunsets over the fields were stunning! The loft was our favorite area, it was so cozy up there, we watched movies and played board games (the cabin did have a few but we brought our own also!) The resort is so beautiful and super close to Fall Creek falls where we spent the day! Over all an amazing weekend making memories!

Lovely Setting

Nice Cabin for small family; Close to Fall Creek Falls State Park few minutes away. Tranquil; great getaway to take a break for few days. Easy Access. Only complaint: cabin was very poorly cleaned from occupants that preceded our stay; floors were dirty. Dishwasher did not function properly. Positives however far outweighed negatives and would certainly stay at this property in the future. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet and Peaceful

The property is just as described and pictured. It was a great R&R trip and we were able to get a couple of good hikes in at Fall Creek Falls State Park. We were not clear on it being a gated community, and it took a while to figure out that there was a code and how to enter it. Finally figured it out. Lovely cabin and the view of the pasture was mezmorizing.

Grand View lodge stay in Spencer TN

Great place to enjoy nature and the outdoors with home comforts to retreat to at end of day. Worst thing about this locale is the slightly treacherous route into and out of the property, but that can hardly be blamed on the establishment.
