The large main bedroom with an en suite bath is located on the first floor and opens up to the large screened-in porch. With an additional four bedrooms and two bathrooms, there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Located on a large lot looking out at Point Street, you and your family will have lots of shade and space for outdoor activities. When you're not enjoying the sand and waves, dine at the iconic Whaley's Bar and Restaurant while in town. You'll be just one mile from The Plantation Course at Edisto for an afternoon of golf, and Edisto Environmental Learning Center is six miles away for some family-friendly fun. An unparalleled family vacation is waiting to be had, and you can have your very own summer house on Edisto Beach.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Family Vacation

Let’s start with what we did not love. It was hot in the house. The AC obviously needs to be replaced. Know that if you call to report a problem you will NOT speak to anyone local. All calls go to a call center overseas. What we loved - location was fantastic. The screened in porch was spacious. Beds were comfortable. Having two refrigerators was a game changer. The lay out of the house was perfect for our size group. Unfortunately we will not rent this house again due to issues with the AC. We aren’t going to the beach in July to sleep in a hot house.

Great week at Edisto!

Our extended family spent a wonderful week at Edisto in Bocation Time. Our ages ranged from 1 year to 75 years old. The layout of the house allowed for all ages to be comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the large screened porch. The kitchen was very well equipped. A good time was had by all!

Family beach trip

The house was wonderful and offered everything we needed including enough bedrooms and bathrooms with comfortable beds. Very close to the beach a plus. Great choice! However, lightning struck the island on the 1st weekend and we were without AC downstairs for 1 day. Also mowing crew cut our internet connection one afternoon and we were without internet, tv for a day as well.

We Love Bocation!

This was our second year staying at this property and we will book again. It was the perfect spot for our children and grandchildren to enjoy the beach and each other! We appreciate the large group gathering areas inside and out and the two full size refrigerators and ice makers. The two large downstairs showers were great also. The kitchen is well appointed with every space labels! The 5 year old loved the small kid space under the stairway and the bunk room was perfect for the grands to stay together. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home - we will be back!

Pre-back-to-school getaway!

Bocation Time was clean, roomy, was well-equipped, and had a few extra bonuses for the kiddos (fun bathroom and a “secret hideout”/reading nook). We enjoyed listening to the surf in the evenings on the porches, the proximity to the public beach access, and the bar w/icemaker. The “beer fridge” was great in theory, but never got ice cold. We used it mainly for the kid-friendly drinks and snacks. Overall, our group would DEFINITELY visit this beautiful home again! We loved our stay! For reference, we had 4-6 adults, 4-6 kiddos (ages 4-13), and everyone was super happy.

A week without adequate AC

As a VRBO property owner and someone who rents a lot we were disappointed in the property at its price point. The location is great and plenty of room for a large family with all the essentials. Unfortunately the A/C would only cool down to 72 between the hours of 2am and noon, after that it would jump to 80 degrees. We also experienced several roaches before we called the exterminator.

Edisto weekend with friends

Wonderful place. We loved the proximity to the beach and within walking distance to Whaley's. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the layout of the house.

Great home for Christmas family get-together!

We had a wonderful family Christmas get-together. The home was very comfortable for our family group....each bedroom was nice and roomy with comfortable beds! Having the two refrigerators was a great bonus. The location and access to the beach was great...also, a nice yard for the kids to play outside! Kitchen was well stocked for our family meals. Thank you for sharing this great home!

Perfect spot

This spacious house provided 4 couples, three kids and a grandma plenty of room to gather for Thanksgiving. The kitchen had all the necessities to cook a big feast.

Great Home

This home was fantastic! The kitchen was well stocked from pots/pans to crockpots, silverware, serving trays, coffee makers, toaster, etc. you will not need to bring a thing other than food. We loved the large bedrooms that were spaced out nicely giving everyone privacy when needed, the bathrooms were large and the rain shower was awesome. The kitchen table was ample for our large crew. You could hear the ocean from the back porch and you have 2 public beach access points within steps. Not a great water view (only a very small section from the second floor) but you can be at the ocean in seconds. Would love to stay again!

Perfect for our family of 12!

The location is perfect. You never hear road traffic and can hear the ocean waves from the back porch, which is shaded after 6:00 pm:) Loved having 2 refrigerators and a small bar area. This was a very comfortable rental for the 12 of us of all ages! Thank you for a beautiful family vacation!
