The Nook is a newly remodeled garage apartment that is just minutes from beautiful Lake Tenkiller, A beautiful park like setting with an abundance of wildlife and a short drive to several marinas and restaurants. You can also take advantage of the close proximity to Tahlelquah and the amazing Illinois River. You will find plenty of parking so bring you boat and water toys. It can sleep up to three with a queen bed and a loveseat that pull out to make a twin. Enjoy dining inside or out with our grill and patio furniture. The fire pit is always a favorite with s'more finxins always provided.

Perfect!

My granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Nook. Check-in was easy, the rental was very clean and very comfortable. Jennifer responded quickly to my text about nearby restaurants. We especially enjoyed the fire pit & s’mores. The assorted coffees, creamers, and snacks were a wonderful bonus! Would definitely stay here again!!

Nice getaway

Enjoyed our night in cookson. Room was cozy and clean. Host made sure we had everything we needed and provided plenty of information for the surrounding area. Cant wait to stay again!

The Nook

We arrived Friday afternoon and left on Sunday morning around 10am. Saturday we spent the day with relatives. The Nook was perfect for being our home away from home for two nights.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

The Nook was just what we were looking for! The location made it easy to access multiple locations on Tenkiller Lake with ease. In addition to the great location the host was a great communicator and ensured all of our questions were answered. Creature comforts were provided to include smores, coffee, and a smart TV. Also worthy of honorable mention was the softness of the bathroom towels. We would recommed The Nook to anyone and would be happy to stay again the next chance we get!

Undisturbed Weekend

Great place to stay. Easy checking with code. Host is on site and available if you need them. The wife and I just needed a quick getaway, the host was very responsive with any questions and left us to ourselves. This place was excellent. The Princess drive in is just a few minutes down the road as well as a DG market. Thank you Jack & Jennifer!!

Clean, cute corner of paradise

The Nook was immaculate, decorated very cute, comfortable and the host was amazing. I was at the Nook for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. The place was exactly as described. Even though this is located in the corner of the host garage, it is very private. There is a privacy fence between you and the host's house. Plenty of open communication with the host but since it had keyless door entry, we never actually met in person. There were many personal touches including a snack basket and cold drinks in the fridge and smore's makings for the fire pit. I would highly recommend you stay at the Nook. .

Nice place but connected to owners garage

Very clean. Chemical smell was very strong. I don’t know if it was from the garage or from insecticides or cleaners. I wasn’t able to sleep without using an inhaler and I felt uncomfortable leaving my pup there inhaling the air when we were out

The Nook is Perfection for your Cookson Adventure

This property was absolutely fantastic. The hosts really thought of everything! Great wifi for me to be able to hop on my laptop to answer emails. The bed was super comfortable, and the hosts responded so quickly and they even checked in on us to ensure we were having a great time. Love our experience and would love to come back in the future!

Nice and quiet

Property was clean, bed was comfortable, and the location was great. Close to fishing spots, and not far from tahlequah for good restaurants. Very quiet and nice place to stay.

Anniversary Trip

We recently stayed at the Nook for our anniversary and we found it to be a great place. The room was clean and comfortable, and the land around the lake was beautiful.....they even allowed us to bring our dog! We couldn't get into the lake due to recent flooding but it was beautiful and quiet...we enjoyed our stay very much and will likely return when we have the opportunity.

I think booking this VRBO for the fifth time speaks for itself! Lol I didn’t even have my dog with me this time, but decided to stay here anyway because it is more homey than a hotel! ✨ I also love getting to see all the beautiful l scenery on my drives home after a long shift. Highly recommend!

A travel nurses dream!

I am so happy that I found such a cute spot to stay with my dog while I’m working at the local hospital. It has everything you need and is way better than staying in a hotel. Jennifer is just a text away if you need anything and very accommodating. I can’t wait to stay here again - it’s so cozy!
