The home was perfect for our needs. Gogi was awesome - even checking on us when hurricane Milton was sitting on us in Florida. The kitchen was well equipped with more than we needed. The pond/lake was nearly a half mile away but it was really pretty. I would definitely recommend this home. We loved our stay.
This home was well equipped and a perfect quiet place for us to stay while visiting our grandchildren who lived nearby. An easy drive to all Sun Valley activities in any season.
We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. The views were outstanding and easy to enjoy from the deck or any window. The home was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed for relaxing stay and cooking meals. Communication with the owner was outstanding!
This is a beautifully finished home with Mediterranean decor and lovely indoor furniture. The south facing view is amazing, particularly from the master bedroom - its hard to leave it even to go downstairs! Although you can see other houses, they are so widely spaced, it still feels very isolated. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms luxurious. A few notes for future visitors: 1) The stairs are quite steep - be sure your knees are prepared. 2) For those not familiar with the area, the scenery here is beautiful green rolling hills, but the high mountains are still quite a ways north. 3) The south facing view means it gets a bit toasty on summer afternoons. But these are minor issues, and I would love to stay here again!
I came up to SunVaIley Idaho during the Memorial Day Weekend in 2005, I was so enamored with the area that I wanted to have a home here. I had been to many beautiful mountain areas in the Western USA, but none of those areas impressed me like Sun Valley. I just had the intuition that this place was something special and that feeling has only intensified over the years. I found a real estate agent and returned in July of 2005 to search for a possible home. I must have looked at over 50 homes, and it was in the Indian Creek Community that I found my home.
What makes this property unique
What made me choose this property was the splendor of the area and the privacy. I felt like if I was going to live in a mountainous community, I would like to enjoy peace and tranquility while I connect with nature. This home has transformed my appreciation for solitude. I so much look forward to my escape back to nature. I watch the stars on a clear night and listen to the owls sing while I drift off into infinity. It refreshing for the sprit and soul.
