The house is in easy walking distance from the Mystic drawbridge. It is a great, historic mansion with plenty of room. A great 2nd floor attic den/play room included. Since we were only the 2nd renter, we noticed and informed the owner of some improvements the house could benefit from. Overall we really enjoyed our 5 day stay. The house is up the hill in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The kids loved the big garden. We enjoyed the wrap around porch.
Beautiful old home with so much character! Gorgeous front porch where we spent 85% of our time! Short walk to downtown Mystic. Just all around great place to stay. Thanks to Gates for his hospitality and answering all our questions in a timely manner.
This 1900 house was charming. The rooms were huge, the kitchen and baths were modern, and the outside porch was lovely. It is three blocks from downtown, so you don't have to worry about parking. We really enjoyed our stay.
