We are thrilled to welcome you and your fur babies to our delightful 3 bedroom and 2 full bath 1300sq/ft bungalow just minutes from charming downtown Fort Mill with all its old school warmth, vintage vibe, cafes, boutiques, taverns, golf, live music, parks, and churches. The perfect sweet retreat at the end of a day of sightseeing, celebrating with family and friends, after the big game, or once you’ve nailed that business meeting or a new job.

Watch the sun come up on the front porch with your coffee; relax in the cozy family room with a movie, book, or laptop; enjoy a glass of wine or sweet tea at the kitchen island as you chat about your day or just relish the quiet. This is your home away from home. Make it yours.

Less than 16 miles from downtown Charlotte, 21 miles from Charlotte Douglas Airport, and just a hop, skip and jump away from cafes, boutiques, live music, breweries, fine and casual dining, hiking, cycling, professional sports events, vineyards, malls, antiques, lakes, rivers, mountains, and countryside. The Bungalow is located in one of Fort Mill's more vintage neighborhoods with quaint front porches, rocking chair visits, and neighbors who have lived there for generations. Some of the homes are being lovingly restored and some are just well-loved. Be sure to wave to the neighbors as you drive by or as they walk past your front porch.

(This is not a highly affluent neighborhood although Fort Mill does have those just around the corner. We want to be sure to be upfront about that as it does matter to some people.)
This home has been very well managed & listed on Airbnb for the last 2 years under previous owners with 5-star reviews and never a safety issue.

Great Place to Stay

Stayed here in a group of 6 and had plenty of space. The house is well maintained, in a central area, and the host is extremely helpful.

Love the stay!

Conveniently Located Cutie

What a cute house! Conveniently located close to downtown and restaurants (give Poppyseed Kitchen a try). The house was spotless and well stocked with everything that we needed. There was even firewood for the fire pit. The fenced backward was quiet and private. The house was quite welcoming with a basket of goodies, fresh flowers, an assortment of coffee and a fridge stocked with water. The host was very responsive and checked to make sure there were no issues. The neighborhood was just as described but we had no issues with any of the neighbors and never felt unsafe. We will definitely stay there again.

Spring Baseball

This bungalow was squeaky clean, beautifully decorated, and lacking for nothing that we needed for our comfort and convenience. Little extras included water bottles in the fridge, a basket containing coffee, donettes , chocolate and a candle. The enclosed yard was perfect for the dog.

Courtney covered everything! It was clean the pillows were great. They were snacks and waters and coffee everything you need when you first get to a place I would definitely recommend it. Location is close to all the good eating spots.

Cute, quaint and clean!

Sweet house with everything we needed. Updated kitchen, completely furnished. A goodie basket and delicious flavored coffee was an added treat! Courtney was a gracious host who went above and beyond to respond to any questions. Loved that there was a Christmas tree still up to ring in the new year. Would definitely stay here again!

Courtney is the best host ever

This is a cute house in a not-so-cute neighborhood. Signs of gentrification, but it's still some time before it hits this street. Courtney has painted and furnished this house stylishly and has great taste. There are a few improvements the house still needs (master bath shower for one) but if you are staying a short time they are not deal breakers. Check in and out were a breeze, and Courtney touched base each day to see if we needed anything. Nice touches like coffee and cookies. Beds were reasonably comfortable, and thank heaven for a host who recognizes the importance of good pillows! I recommend.

Cute Cozy and Convient

Great location- easy access to everything. The host is wonderful and very easy to work with. I'm glad I read the other reviews about the neighborhood prior to booking because I was prepared- had no issues with neighbors, they waved back when we waved, and I'm sure they're lovely people.

Ft Mill bungalow

We were welcomed with fresh sunflowers, coffee, cookies and chocolate. The house was well stocked with kitchen essentials including K cups and creamer. The house was super clean and comfortable. Our fur babies loved the backyard! The location was very convenient for our weekend plans. The neighborhood was definitely not upscale and we knew that from the listing. I felt very safe staying there. Would definitely recommend.

Golf getaway

Our stay was seamless. Courtney stayed in touch every step of the way. She even went out of her way to find and deliver firewood to the house. House was very clean and comfortable. We used the fire pit and Adirondack chairs 3 out of the 4 nights and loved every minute of being outdoors enjoying a fire.

Cute home

Home looks to be a home that was flipped. Kept clean and trendy. Know it’s a older home so don’t expect new bathrooms, etc. However we thought it was very cute, comfortable for our needs this weekend. Close to wedding venue The Belle Crane Inn. If I had to share anything questionable .. it was the neighborhood at first look upon arrival. However, this absolutely was not a issue.

Great cottage for our family event

The cottage was perfect for our family event. Courtney was quick to respond to any questions I had and very kind to accommodate our needs. The cottage is well maintained and has a sweet cozy atmosphere. My family enjoyed their time together at the cottage.. The house is well furnished and the amenities were excellent. Comfortable and secure

Cute property with a big yard. We spent a lot of time with family during our stay, so we were gone during the day. But we were always welcomed by a comfortable evening at the cheery bungalow.

Beautiful home, quite neighborhood, great for the family stay, including the four legged ones.

The home was beautiful and worked perfect for us. Courtney was an amazing host and had the house ready and welcoming for my family and I. Neighborhood was quite and we even had dinner in town. Amazing restaurants, breweries and live music just a short walk over to Main Street.

Home away from home!

Our stay at this adorable bungalow was amazing from beginning to end! The moment we walked in, it felt like home. Colorful, happy, cozy, clean, bright...I could go on and on describing this beautiful home. Courtney is an AMAZING host...in constant communication, and always available to answer any questions we had. Our stay was very comfortable, and my 88 year old mom gave it 2 thumbs up! We will definitely stay there again and again

Cute, charming cottage

We have been to several VRBO rentals , this owner excelled in excellent customer service, which we appreciate. The cottage is an older home, but it has been updated with new appliances & technologies. Gaining access was simple . The fact that our (2) four legged friends were not only allowed but welcomed was a great bonus to making our stay even better . There is an enclosed yard for them to play safely. Our two teens felt welcomed with internet access & cookies ! It was close to CarOwinds ! The cottage was cute & charming . The decor matched the easy vacation feel. The air conditioning worked well, even on an 100 degree day! The master bathroom was clean & serviceable. The shower was a bit of a challenge for my 6’3” husband - the owner was open to hearing of our challenges & to see what she could do to manage those challenges. All in all a very favorable vaca -we would rent again.

I grew up in the Midwest, studied Finance & Real Estate in Colorado, and ended up in New Zealand for 19 years followed by 5 in SoCal and a recent move to NC. When the picket fence didn’t eventuate, God decided a passport was a fair trade and I have traveled extensively over the last 25 years. I initially traveled alone but then shared my journeys with my 2 sons who have learned to treasure memories over material things. If I’m not traveling, I’m reading, learning, drinking coffee, or building an empire in my head. Sometimes all at the same time.

This Airbnb bungalow is my 1st and my son, Journey, and I are working together as a team to create something special to share with our fellow adventurers & dreamers. We are fixing up our 2nd one not far away and hope to build a legacy for our family for generations to come.
