Great Canin

We loved this cabin. It was clean, comfy, quiet and everything was as described. Views from living room and bedrooms were of trees, so tranquil. Big deck is also great. Communication was very prompt, but we didn’t need help with anything once we arrived.

Great property

This was a great small cabin near the entrance of Yosemite which made getting to the park before the morning rush easy. Kitchen is on the smaller size but functional. Living room has wonderful large windows to look out onto the property. It was wonderful that the cabin had a full size washer and dryer that we were able to use after getting dirty on our hikes. We were disappointed that the grill did not work and the refrigerator had some condensation problems.

Yosemite National Park visit

We had a great time in fish camp. Nearby Oakhurst had restaurants as well as Tenaya lodge. The home was clean, cozy, with plenty of room for our 4 adults. Within 15 min from Mariposa grove and 1 hour to Yosemite Valley. Highly recommended

Great location

Location was perfect for visiting Yosemite National Park. Nice cabin, clean an host was very responsive.

Nice location

Nice location but property has some deferred maintenance and was lacking basic amenities. Owner was responsive but should not have needed to ask for toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.

Great place to spend quality time at Yosemite

Over all enjoyed our stay We had trouble finding the place at 9 pm at night and after a hard snow (over an 1”) but due to wrong address we entered in Google. Veena helped us that night and was great. The only issue was the heaters were not on when we got there and was very cold. The heater in one bedroom didn’t work but they had a mobile one that kept us warm through stay (Veena said it worked 2 weeks ago and they way things went I probably didn’t do something right), there were dirty dishes in dishwasher, and the coffee maker had used grounds in it. Really nothing huge. Veena was very very responsive and we appreciate it. We bought food before coming to unit but planned on eating out after one day of hiking. Got back too late (8pm) and nothing was open. Definitely bring enough food to feed yourself of coming back after 6 pm. Really likes the fireplace and beds, bathrooms and kitchen were clean and comfortable. We would go back knowing what we know now. Thanks Veena for a great stay

Wonderful Location

The ManVee is a perfect location for a visit to beautiful Yosemite! We had a small issue with the fireplace, but Veena and her very nice neighbor helped us fix it. We would stay there again!

Great cabin in the woods

Lovely, homely cabin in Fish Camp, perfectly suited for Yosemite Park village. Good communication with the owners and manager to sort out a minor problem, and we really appreciated the local info and hiking details. All in all a great place for our family of five to stay.

Great communication from owner and fantastic location 2 miles from the southern park entrance made this a very good property for our Yosemite vacation. A few small details (ie improvements to outdoor living area) kept this from a 5 star rating, but we would definitely stay here again.

Great Home Base for Yosemite

This was a great location and made entering the south side of the park incresibly easy. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the cabin hadn't been cleaned when we checked in. The property manager responded quickly and was able to get it cleaned along with refunding our cleaning fee. Overall would recommend.

Great place for peace and relaxation

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin…we had everything we needed and it was so nice and quiet. The location was perfect between Oakhurst and Wawona.

Great location for Yosemite!

The house accommodated our family of 5 very well. There’s no AC, which made me panicky with the heat wave. However, it was fine by the time we went to bed with the windows open and two fans in every room, (and I like it COLD when sleeping). Overall, we were very pleased with our stay!

Convenient access to Yosemite Valley

This is a great launch point to get to Yosemite Valley and is only two miles from the South entrance. Kitchen looks brand new and is well equipped. Best to bring food with you as not many food options locally in Fish Camp. Fans provided for every room. I assumed temperature would be similar to Yosemite even though only 30+ miles to Yosemite village. Fish Camp seems to be 10 degrees warmer than Yosemite village.

Absolutely comfortable

Comfortable cabin in nice neighborhood. Very clean, kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals. Picnic table on deck. Some chairs would have been nice. We spent most of our tlme on the deck. Beautiful place!

All the comforts of home!

Very homey and comfortable cabin. The only issue was the living room floors were not swept very well and the sheets on one bed had not been changed. It was a great location close to the south gate entrance to Yosemite. The manager showed up as we were packing to leave and apologized for the cleaning issues. We had a very nice trip to Yosemite.

Convenient and comfortable

Fully appointed and comfortable with all the usual home comforts. Was plenty warm even with snow piled high. Running creek out back. I would definitely stay again. This is located in a mountain "neighborhood" so you won't have solitude, but still plenty of space. Really close to dinner and market and if course Yosemite south gate. Internet worked great, by the way, if that is something you need.

Lovely stay in Fish Camp near entrance to Yosemite

The home was perfect for our needs. Easy arrival procedure (owner sent code for entry in advance). The cabin was a cozy home base for our stay. The roads were well plowed, and the surroundings were beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!

I am an avid runner and a hiker. To name a few, I have enjoyed climbing–Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa, Mt Aconcagua in South America, Everest base camp in Asia, Mt Whitney and Grand Canyon in North America, . I have also run a couple of marathons and a number of half marathons.

Why they chose this property

I love nature and feel at peace whenever I am in and around woods. I have been very fortunate to call California bay area my home. It's unparalleled scenic beauty and wonderful weather all around makes anyone feel blessed. Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places on earth and I decided to make a small part of it my second home, having a place to take a break and unwind from day to day work stress. I feel great to be able to share this small cabin with the fellow nature lovers.

What makes this property unique

The house is situated in a beautiful location and makes you feel in the middle of nature without compromising the comforts of a home. It's just 2 miles from the south gate of Yosemite park entrance and 12 miles from the small town Oakhurst. You have the benefit from both ends being so close to nature and yet not so far from city.
