The property was as described and clean . Owners were easy to work with . I emailed a question I had and received an immediate response ! Would stay again …
We enjoyed our stay at this house. We had plenty of room for 6 people. We especially liked that the fireplace was already set up. All we had to do was light! We would book again.
House was as described and exactly what we were looking for. Lots of beds, clean and in the right area. Main areas are a little cozy but worked for us and are as listed. Communication with the host was good. Thanks for a nice stay.
Had a great stay at the house like always. We have rented this place multiple times before and they keep up with improvements and cleanliness. Booked through VRBO but for some reason we were unable to get the info packet we needed but Peggy made sure she reached out to me and made sure we were all set. Thanks Again!
My family and I stayed with a group of friends over the Presidents Day weekend. The house was ideally located between WhiteCap and Powderhorn ski areas. Nothing too fancy about the house, but it was very clean with some newer renovations that made our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend!
The property was clean and had tons of space for sleeping if we had had more people. It was just the two of us and worked fine. I definitely recommend if you have a group of people
Great location and plenty of space in the house, parking is great for 2 large trucks with large trailers, only down fall is the only grill is two very small charcoal grills. Great experience.
I was born in an exact miners house a block and a half away. It was amazing to see how well preserved and furnished this one is. Very smooth check in and out. It was great to see how beautiful Montreal is.
Everything was as described and comfortable and ready for us upon arrival which was wonderful after a long day on the road. This is our second time at this property and the kids were delighted to be back. The owners were very responsive to our questions and we had an excellent time. Very reasonable requirements for checkout and that's quite helpful when you're preparing to head home. Looking forward to our next stay up north!
We traveled out to Wisconsin during a school break to then see Bayfield and to travel into Michigan. The property was clean and easy to access. It was nice to being fully furnished. The only negative was with the queen bed. It was firm and springs could be felt.
This historic but updated miner's house was perfect for our adventures to the area's waterfalls. We were able to visit many falls within 30-40 minutes of the house. Rick and Peggy made us feel very welcome. We would definitely go back again.
The house is very clean, well-stocked, and beautifully situated halfway between the Apostle Islands and the Porcupine Mountains. Check in and check out were easy and stress free. There is some street noise from route 77, but we found that our white noise machines covered the noise.
We were pleased with what the property had to offer and fit our needs as expected. Though it is an older home, it was very clean and modern inside. We traveled by motorcycle and never felt a concern for the security of our bikes. The owners were easy to work with but we had no need to reach out to them while we were there as there were no concerns.
House was clean and quiet, only thing wrong was when the neighbors let there dog out it came over in our yard to potty I think we all stepped in it once or twice

Why they chose this property
We bought this property in 1984 so our family could ski and snowboard in Big Snow country. We purchased a second property a few years later and our daughter now owns that. So when we are not using the property ourselves, we rent it out.
