Destination stay

Pretty nice grounds. In walking the dog I found a few hideaway's. Small pound in bloom, gazebo overlooking horse barn and pasture. It was a single room cabin. Had to set the fridge. Didn't realize it was set on high and froze up the first night

Peaceful retreat

The cabin was perfect for 2 people for a quiet little getaway! We really enjoyed our time there. The chickens and ducks added a nice touch of country charm! We definitely recommend visiting and will return ourselves.

Overall great!

The owners were amazing at communicating and making sure we were satisfied. The place could have used a little more cleaning prior our arrival, but overall acceptable. They had all the essentials you needed to feel comfortable and enjoy the stay.

Perfect solitude

Owners were very accommodating. Answered all questions. They know the area very well and are very quick to offer information on local attractions. Overall a very pleasant stay. Our Goldendoodle also enjoyed the visit as he was welcomed just as much as we were. Thanks again!

Wonderful atmosphere

This place is a great place to stay. There are a few cabins to chose from, and all of them are extremely affordable. I have three dogs so it takes a little extra work to find places to stay, but this place was very accommodating to pet owners. The best part is this place is ran by a retired military family, so when you stay here you help support a family that sacrificed to support us.

Quiet Retreat

This was my getaway from the ordinary. I already love the Blairsville area. The Misty Mountain cottages were perfectly centered in between lots of amazing hiking trails. My dog loved running in the field behind the property. Birds everywhere and a beautiful eastern view from the front porch of my cabin!

Great cozy and friendly getaway!

There are several great little cabins on a beautiful property. We were welcomed by some great hosts, ducks, and chickens. Very close drive to great views and the pretty downtown of Blairsville. If you have dogs this place is great because a close walk away there is a big field away from roadways where the doggos can run. Highly recommend for an adventurous couple that likes to visit small town USA and hike!

Great long weekend!

My wife and I came into town for a long weekend and had a great stay. The cottage was as advertised - small and cozy, plenty for the two of us for a short stay. The grounds were scenic and well maintained. Would definitely come back!

Perfect spot for a relaxing, stress free trip!

The property was exactly as described and was spotless. Everything about the week end was so easy (except for the hike up Brasstown Bald!) We were so happy with our decision to stay at Misty Mountain Dragonfly cabin.

We purchased Misty Mountain Inn with the intent of managing the bed and breakfast as a family affair with all members (all 4 kids included) learning aspects of the business. Our motto is "Rest, Renew, and Trail On" and it is our goal to provide quality lodging for those wanting to enjoy a relaxing mountain setting with numerous recreational opportunities. We want guests to arrive with rest and renewal in mind while they spend time on the trails, lodging in our cottages, and seeking outdoor adventures in the mountains. It is our hope you leave more energized than when you arrived. We look forward to calling Georgia our home and hosting you as our guest.

Why they chose this property

We love this property as it is close to Blairsville, which has some of the nicest people we've ever met. Misty Mountain is also really close to all the out door amenities this area has to offer. We have the best of both worlds!

What makes this property unique

We are conveniently located less than two hours from Atlanta, 11 miles to Brasstown Bald, 8 miles to Vogel State Park, 6.5 miles to downtown Blairsville and 4.3 miles to the Trackrock Petroglyph Site. Very close to some of the worlds most desired hiking trails, gorgeous waterfalls, mountains and Blairsville.
