It was perfect for our family get together. The kids absolutely loved the fort bunk beds. If there were neighbors we never heard or saw them. The directions to the place were misleading and difficult as Google doesn’t take you directly there but rather to a place down the road so highly recommend arriving before dark. Karine was very helpful and patient on the phone as we tried to navigate there the first night. We would absolutely stay here again!
Overall good place to stay but would have appreciated being told the view was obstructed by construction next door. Home needs some maintenance and updating but overall nice place
Karine was wonderful to work with and very accommodating and quick to respond to questions
This was a really nice place. Maybe just a little pricy. A $400 fee that I wasn’t aware of added to the total. Read closely this is a condominium. No air conditioning in the bottom floor. We would stay here again even tho there were a few disappointments.
Location was perfect. Everyone enjoyed having their own bedroom and bathroom. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was nice and appreciated the coffee pods. Easy to communicate with property manager.
Amazing Mountain Views! Great beds, bathrooms, and kitchen space. Plentiful towels (including pool towels), toiletries, and kitchen items. Only negative was unsightly construction site next door that was the view for main patio and a bedroom. Also, detailed directions to actual unit would be helpful - very tricky to find, even for local food delivery drivers. Host was responsive.
I would say our stay was just about perfect. We loved the location and the view was amazing. There are imperfections, but none of them diminished the quality of our stay.
1) The pool's a short walk away
2) The ice maker in the fridge is slow, and the dispenser doesn't work
3) It's tricky to find. I would recommend the host provide detailed directions in advance.
But those are super nitpicky and in no way diminished an amazing week in the mountains. I would go back again in a second.
Pros: Views and location were amazing. I don't think we could have found a place with a better view. The surrounding area was nice as well and the drive into Estes Park was quick and easy. The beds were also comfortable, and the condo was fairly clean. Maintenance responded quickly when smoke detector started beeping due to low battery.
Cons: The condo itself could use some work - there are things broken in every room - light switches and plugs that don't work, patches of dry wall that haven't been fixed, stained carpet, front door handle/lock is ajar and close to breaking. All minor issues but definitely makes the place feel run-down.
Very dissappointed, overall. The problems noted in previous reviews have not been addressed. After the maintenance person worked on the ice maker, it still didn't work; we turned it off so that it didn't continue leaking on the kitchen floor. Many of the outlets didn't work. The deck off the main living area was pretty sketchy--one section of the railing had split and was about to fall apart. Needless to say, we had to keep the children inside. There were only two keys (there was supposed to be three), and with three families, that was a problem on several occasions. The upstairs bathroom is the size of a phone booth. Also, as noted in another review, there seems to be a radiant floor heating system in operation, so the un-airconditioned bedrooms downstairs were very warm--82 degrees one night. The communal hot tub doesn't work--no jets. There was no game room, no toys. Just a few incomplete decks of cards.
Some positives: the location is fantastic. The swimming pool was awesome. The kitchen--except for the ice maker--was in good shape and had all the utensils we needed. The views are spectacular from every window.
This was my first time using VRBO and I expected a lot more from a "premium host".

Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Great get together with family.
It was not at all like the picture suggested. I really thought the pool and hot tub was right out our property door. The picture was correct if that was the property I thought I rented. As I reported the front door and refrigerator have issues. The fire place in the master suite also does not work. I will call an ask questions next time before i assume.
Prefer info about place be sent ahead of time instead of in a binder. Great room is too small for gathering, upstairs room is not on same floor with bunk beds, etc. for children. Many things in house were not working(lights, outlets) or broken, only one tv had functioning remote for Dish network, not enough towels for 10 people, pillows were uncomfortable, no A/C in bedrooms but only in living room, front door handle damaged, owner needs to invest in doing maintenance and upkeep, directions to find the property were not detailed enough, put a keypad for main door instead of key box.
We loved our stay! The Google/Apple maps address doesn’t quite line up due to some construction but the owner was very responsive to help us find the condo.
The porches/view are incredible. For us, the location was perfect: it’s away from the busy part of Estes Park, 10 minutes to the center of town, 10 minutes to the RMNP entrance, 10 minutes to Long’s Peak/Chasm Lake Trailhead (and many others).
I’m glad others had a great stay, however, ours was not stellar. I tried communicating our issues to the management company privately in two separate emails with a request for a response and have not heard back from them. It’s been two weeks. The location is great and the condo is large and has the potential to be a fabulous retreat.
We had trouble checking in because we arrived after dark and the condo signage is impossible to see in the dark and is actually not posted as listed in the check-in procedures.
There was an alarm outside the front door that went off multiple times every night and can be heard inside the bedrooms. Must be motion activated?? Animals? Neighbors coming and going? Regardless, very annoying.
Hopefully our experience was a one-off. Just disappointed.
This is a wonderful location. Convenient to the Rocky Mountains and all the activities we had planned for our trip. Perfect decks for early mornings or end-of-the day views and discussions, or actually all day! We also enjoyed the pool, especially the kids. We ate most breakfasts and dinners at the place, and the kitchen layout and appliances, including the grill, were excellent. Helped make our vacation extremely enjoyable.
