About this property

Cabin in the Woods

The “Cabin in the Woods” is our primary residence and we like to share it when we are away exploring. The home is a two story, 3 bedroom home with an open living room & kitchen area. It sits on 10 acres of beautiful tree lined forest with an open view of hill side. Forest creatures roam the property and the surround views- commonly seen animals are deer, elk and moose, so watch your step when you head outside for a hike. The home has two beautiful porches for bird watching and a half mile private dirt road for walking. The main living space is bright with natural light, magical with forest animals and comforting with a fireplace. During the summer months when the days get hot, the basement is cool and fun for all with books, tv & DVD player, and a pool table. The home has three permanent beds with room for an air mattress. We can also provide a mini crib and children’s books and toys if you need. With all the fun to be had in Bozeman we hope you pick our vacation rental to be in the solitude of nature- as summer months are filled with moving wildlife & vibrant wildflowers, and winter months are silent and settling by a crackling fire.

Well appointed with great views!

The perfect Montana cabin. We had a deer walk right by the deck our first evening. We had everything we possibly could need, plus more. Well appointed kitchen, toiletries, etc. the views are magnificent. It feels like you’re deep in the mountains of Montana, but it’s only 20ish mins to get to the store, tons of restaurants etc. We loved our stay!

We love Montana and treasure the wild places, which is why we moved to the country outside of Bozeman. Chris owns an optics company in town, and Andrea loves being a new Mom and keeping things running at home. We enjoy traveling and especially enjoy Montana summers!

Why they chose this property

This property is close enough to Bozeman to provide all of our social and city needs while still providing enough space to relax and see lots of wildlife. We love living in the country.

What makes this property unique

We regularly see deer, elk, moose, lots of different birds, and all sorts of wildlife. We can hike right from our home, which we love.
