We so enjoyed our time at this sweet little gem of a cabin! A little dated, but that just added to the charm. The view was grand. Especially at night watching the stars and the moon reflecting on the water! Very tranquil and peaceful setting!

Very amazing cute place right on the lake
Second time visiting this home, we love it everytime. Had all the vintage things that make you feel like you're back at grandma's house, but also has modern upgrades. Having such a great price too be able to stay right on the lake is invaluable. The vacasa crew is quick to respond with any issue and are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this lovely house!

Best couples or family retreat
So beautiful! Fresh fruit to pick . Deer and wildlife constantly. So private and so serine. You need to come to this house. We played cards and board games on the deck at sunset....I recommend you do as well!!!😄😄❤️

Awesome Lake House
This house was a perfect lake house! It is older with older things which actually gave it a Great Lake vibe. Our family very much enjoyed staying here and having a place to put our toes in the water!

Perfect lake house except…..
We loved everything about the home. Perfectly placed on the lake. However the house is very dated and can stand a few upgrades as well as I feel like the house was dirty. Toilet was dirty, garbage was everywhere someone’s nasty q tip was left on floor in bathroom! 🤢 Spider webs through out the house ( no one dusted) coffee stains on outdoor furniture like it was never washed. Overall we had a good experience at the house was very dirty

Nice view w/dock but very old home
The view and dock was heavenly and we had a blast swimming. The inside spaces of the house such as living space was poor, everything was breaking down the cupboards, kitchen, futon and washer and dryer all from the 70”s, and there is no dish washer so you have to wash all your dishes and all the amenities were dirty and greasy and uncleaned. The furniture in these photos look clean but in real life the futon is black from the dirt. There was mounds of dog hair all over the floor, wrappers on the carpet, ton of human hair all over the bed, futon and couch. The place was not vacuumed. There is no dish washer and all the pots and utensils were greasy and not cleaned and put back in cupboards. The futon was so grimy, smelly and black from the dirt, it clearly has never had a wipe down. There was dog poop all over front yard along with 20 bags of poop in the outside toilet. There were spider webs in ever crevice of the house, and tables were dirty and not wiped down. It’s time to upgrade the kitchen and living space for the price you are paying to stay here.

Needs a lot of work
We knew it was risky staying at a place with no reviews, but wanted to give it a try. Overall the place is fine, but it needs a lot of work to be worth what they charge.
Pros:
- The bed is actually a king size bed.
- The location is easy to get to and the view from the deck is beautiful.
- The house is only about 20 minutes from town.
- The TV is nice and works well.
Cons:
- The house was dirty when we showed up. Dirty floors, dusty surfaces, cobwebs all over the ceiling and corners of all the rooms covered in hundreds of dead fruit flies. Thankfully we had brought our own cleaning supplies, but it was obvious it hadn't actually been cleaned to the COVID procedures they claim in the listing.
- There were a lot of (alive) fruit flies all over the house, so much that we couldn't leave any food out and constantly had to swipe them away when we were trying to eat.
- The bed is WAY too soft and droopy. You could feel any tiny movement of the other person.
- There are soft spots on the deck that seemed sketchy and like the wood is rotted.
- The listing makes it look like the deck is attached to the yard--it is not. It also makes it look like there are just a few steps down to the water. You have to go out the side of the house and down a steep set of 25+ stairs to get to the yard, and a few more steps down to the ledge next to the water. This was fine for us but would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues and this information is not included in the listing anywhere. Also the photos show a little beach area next to the deck, but that isn't the case. There is a concrete section you can stand on but then it drops right into the water. If you are looking for a spot with a little beach area this isn't it.
- The trash outside was completely full with additional bags of trash next to the bin when we arrived. On our second night there some animals got into the trash bags and made a mess, which was annoying to clean up.
- The futon is incredibly uncomfortable to sit on, let alone sleep on. In the "history of the house" book it says the futon was purchased in 2002, which is quite obvious.

Hidden gem
My family adored this little house. Yes it's a little outdated, but we loved it! I wouldn't change a thing in it. We can't wait to visit again. The house had enough spices if you're a cook, oven takes a bit to bake (not an issue for us), we didn't use any pans to cook dinners or lunches (who wants to cook on vacay), and dog friendly! Just all around enjoyed our stay here. Oh the driveway is a little steep, if backing up ain't your thing, you better get good at it before you come. It was very clean inside too.
