About this property

Pet Friendly Cabin | Ski-In/Out | Hot Tub| 5 Min Drive to Resort

Take a look at our Powder Ridge Cabin and picture yourself here enjoying the views, hot tub, and access to the mountain with your friends and family. Pretty easy, right? The cabin allows your group to spread out due to the accommodating layout and stay together in the living space- both doors and out! The multiple living spaces allow guests to get ready for the day easily and then spread out and relax post-adventure. The deck allows you to get more of the mountain air while you grill and the hot tub on the ground level will let you recharge for the next day's plans.

Elevate your stay from start to finish! When you stay in one of our properties, you also receive the convenience of KEY, a hospitality team that is ready to transform your travels into an unforgettable experience. From in-home amenities like pre-arrival groceries, or a private chef, to local experiences like a dog sledding excursion. KEY’s team is available to create a personalized itinerary of the best Big Sky has to offer. Lookout for your confirmation email for additional information.

During the summer, explore your backyard that is Big Sky Resort. The Mountain Village provides numerous activities like ziplining, rock wall climbing, dining options, and of course mountain biking! Of course, many travelers to Big Sky plan on a trip to America's first national park- Yellowstone! Be sure to plan accordingly so you won't miss our viewing fields of roaming bison, colorful (and smelly) thermal pools and geysers, and the iconic and inspirational views throughout the park. The West Yellowstone park entrance is one hour south of Big Sky, and luckily the drive will be part of the experience, winding you along the Gallatin River and the national park's boundaries.

During the winter, ski right out of the cabin using the Rising Bull Access off of Blue Cloud Road. This will get you to the White Otter and then White Wing trail, bringing you down to the Explorer Lift at Big Sky Resort's Mountian Base. Alternatively, ski-out of your cabin following Rising Bull Road, getting you to the Rosebud Access trail and ultimately leading you to the White Otter pick-up lift that runs for the majority of the ski season. Once you learn your route, the world (or at least Big Sky Resort's 5,800 skiable acres) is your oyster!

** White Otter opens in mid-December and closes on April 9th. We cannot control the lift schedule for ski access. If you have small children, you may need to shuttle them to the resort as they may not be able to ski the runs.

Additional Notes:
We are a local property management company. So if there is anything you need before, during, or after your trip, please let us know!
Summer guests are encouraged to take part in good ole' Montana A/C which is opening windows at night and closing them up during the day. Closing them during the day will help keep cool air inside, and we ask that you do so if you are not present at the home as well.

Transportation to Big Sky From Bozeman Airport:
In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

Ski in/ski out warm home

Our family stayed at this home for five nights of big sky skiing. We loved the comfy beds, warm feel of the home, and location. The downstairs suite with den was a real bonus. It takes you a bit to learn the way (five mins) to lift (10-15 mins in total to base) and fifteen mins to get home from base - there’s a bunch of traversing both ways and it’s not for a beginner skier at all - but after the first day we cruised. We were lucky to get a lot of snow and the walks and driveway were promptly plowed. Loved the separate garage to keep car snow-less. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t successfully fixed during our stay, despite their prompt replies to the problem and sending someone out. I would recommend this house for two families. We enjoyed!

Great stay

Everything was wonderful. Especially loved having abundant firewood available for the fireplace. Ski in Ski out was more like ski and hike to get to the mountain and ski and hike back but it was fine.

Family ski trip

The home was beautiful as expected! Mother Nature blessed us with fresh powder every day! Used kitchen throughout our stay. Hot tub was a huge hit daily after skiing. Plenty of space to accommodate all. Could not have been more perfect! Love Powder Ridge Cabins!

Fantastic Ski Vacation!

We were so excited from the moment we arrived at Powder Ridge. The home was just as described and was cozy yet had plenty of room to spread out. The location cannot be beat for ski-in/ski-out! Beds were super comfortable and we had a fabulous time!

Great spot with ski on/ski off access

Ski on/ski off access with plenty of room for 8. Beds were comfortable, house was well maintained. Hot tub was great. Shoveling service came by after each dusting. Property management was super responsive for the couple of minor things. Ski On- From house walk right, towards Rising Bull Road. Jump on Buffalo Hide, ski past maintenance building down to White Otter Lift. Ski Off- ski to bottom of Challenger Chair (don't worry about Expert Access Only, you're fine), at bottom jump onto Bozeman Tail, left onto Rosebud access. *Pay Attention here*. Don't go right. Go left following signs to Buffalo Hide. Ski behind the neighbors across the street.

Love this place!

We love renting these cabins for our yearly big sky trip. We spend 3 days skiing all day. The ski in ski out is perfect to meet at the cabin for lunch. The cabin is clean and has everything you need. I loved it.

Plenty of room

Nice property with plenty of room for family of 7 adults to spread out. Location is nice for proximity to restaurants and biking trails. Kitchen was very well stocked. A few minor bumps. The listing states the property has AC under “amenities” with a picture of a snowflake and AC clearly shown- although further into property detail it does state to open the windows at night and close in the morning to keep house cool. I looked at a lot of properties and chose this one because I thought it had AC. Nighttime wasn’t the problem. The temps were great at night, but during the day the temp inside the house would get to 76+ and after returning from biking etc and wanting to cool down, that wasn’t possible. The only other thing was the towels (minus 4) had been left in the dryer by housekeeping and it took us a bit to figure that out. Overall, very great experience.
