Awesome house nestled in the woods

I really enjoyed my stay at Inn the Shadows. It was a very nice place really close to town and has plenty of privacy. I would recommend this property to anyone.

The owners left nice book about the hpme and the area. The home was quiet yet near restaurants and convenient This was our first vrbo and ot was excellent. They had th ed dishwasher soap etc which we expected tl buy ourselves. Even had a candy jar. Such nice touches. Gave restaurant recommendations and fliers Owner is painter with beautiful work We were just Wowed by everything. We will be back

So close, yet feels so far away

This was a wonderful find. We usually stay in this area and this is the first time we have been so close to town without the feeling of traffic, lights, and noise. It was so quiet. The house was supplied with everything we needed and we loved sitting out on the deck watching the deer, rabbits and squirrels. Check in was quick and the owner is very responsive and accommodating. Would love to visit again.

A gem!

My cousin and I stayed here while attending the John C Campbell Folk School Fall Festival. The house is impeccably kept and cute as it can be. It is convenient to Murphy and Brasstown, so getting around was easy. The beds are comfortable and the towels are fluffy. The host was responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. There is no question that we would stay here again!

We weren’t at the house that much

The house was great. We didn’t get to really enjoy it as we were in town working. But I do have to say the water pressure in the shower was great. I was really impressed with the appliances. They were older but still worked amazing. I have new appliances and they are constantly breaking. They just don’t make stuff like they used too!

Convenient Place to Stay

Nice mountain home near town, good internet and phone reception. The kitchen was well stocked, the tv had good reception and the king bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Great getaway

Murphy was an incredible place with not too much going on but just enough to find things to do. Check out Murphy’s chophouse if you stay here. The house was clean and nice and the owners were helpful throughout the process. Very affordable as well 10/10 recommend.
