My husband and I arrived to Three Lakes to rest and spent nice time close to the nature. The property was cute, clean, and cozy located by the river. We loved the view of the river, the patio area was perfect for a morning coffee. It was exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend.
The cabin is spacious and very well stocked. The deck overlooking the water is great. I enjoyed daily devotions at the table and chairs in the screened-in porch also facing the water. The grounds provided space for our dog to explore. It felt like home away from home.
Had a wonderful time paddling the Eagle River area - off the dock and local lakes and streams. House was clean, neat and well appointed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin.
There was an insect issue that we noticed after we checked in. The owners were unaware of it but were accommodating and offered us several options. We did leave and received a full refund. They were very understanding and kind.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. Very relaxing and peaceful. Dock was great especially with boat launch so close. Good location on the river and close two Eagle River and Three Lakes. Sue was quick to reply and easy to communicate with.
Spent several months here for work. Susan was super easy to work with and the property was wonderful. The cabin has everything you would need and is in a peaceful location with great running, hiking, and boating options nearby.
My partner and I had a last minute, temporary job opportunity in the Eagle River area and are so glad we found this property for the few months we are here. The location is peaceful, and the cabin is a very welcoming and clean! Communication with Susan has been a breeze, and we have really loved getting to know the area with such a nice place to come back to each night. It's right on the water, surrounded by some beautifully managed forests. I cannot speak highly enough about how much we've enjoyed the place!
Our family and dogs had such an amazing stay. This is a beautiful, relaxing, and secluded location. We got lots of fishing done, both from the shore and in our kayaks. As well as some floating on tubs just of the dock to soak up the sun. We'll definitely make this a reoccurring vacation.
It was very quiet I understand that it was located in the woods way too many black ants a
It was very quiet and serene but the beds were uncomfortable too many sewer bugs in the sink I would like a little more correspondence with the person in charge rather than online and could not correspond while in the cabin because I had no internet
This was a perfect property to kayak in the many small waterways and lakes. Loved the raised deck for watching the boats and grilling out. Very well equipped property.
My Wife and I enjoyed staying at the cabin and it was exactly what we were looking for. I was able to put my fishing boat in the water just a few hundred yards away and leave it in the water the whole week. We also enjoyed the use of the canoe. We saw all kinds of wildlife from the cabin deck and caught lots of fish. Very relaxing and fun. The only drawback is having to rent for a whole week at a time. It would be nice for a long weekend of 4 days.
The cabin was fantastic, everything you could possibly want or need was there. The deck looking out over the river was where we spent most of our time when we weren't canoeing or kayaking. There's a great fire pit and plenty of wood, nights spent by the fire were lovely. My main concern before we arrived was that the cabin is close to the road. However, this turned out to be no problem at all because there was almost no traffic. If you like a private, relatively secluded spot that's not too far from a town with a grocery store, this is a perfect place. It was quiet, serene, peaceful and beautiful. Loved it!!
Lovely little rustic cabin in the woods. It was very clean and had all basic needs supplied, so we didn’t need to pack a bunch of household stuff. The host was easy to reach with pre-trip questions, which was helpful.
We didn’t have great weather, yet were able to entertain ourselves with the canoe, movies and board games.
The location was great for us- right between Eagle River & Three Lakes. On the water, but not a super busy river. The boat lift right next door was cool too! Love that there are no neighbors, so you really are out in the woods!
Only down side was that it’s very old, so had a bit of the old smell, but a couple candles took care of it right away!
It will be on our list for next year again!
Ps- the mattress is VERY soft.
The cabin has all the necessary amenities for a great up at the lake experience without going overboard. The woods and lake is pristine. Windows all around really provide an inside in the woods feel with beautiful light effects. My sister and our 2 dogs loved this place. will definitely want to go back.
Everything was spotless very well organized. Very well equipted. Easy access by canoe to lake or long winding little river. River was our favorite, just beautiful.
The location gives the illusion of being quite secluded but you are never very far from people.
This cottage exceeds all expectations. We had a restful 4 days in this cozy and well equipped retreat on the water. From the first minutes of our arrival, we felt the homey atmosphere and knew many generations have made memories in this charming cottage. It was immaculate but invited us to just sit down and relax. The bed was very comfortable as were the many choices of pillows. If we are ever in Eagle River again, this is the first place we will check in to. Thank you Kratsch family
Quaint, rustic, updated, comfortable cabin with amenities that definitely added to the relaxing, fun, restful time away. Gorgeous view on the Eagle River where we kayaked, canoed, and watched the wild life.
Nice peaceful place, the house has everything you need. The owners keep the house clean. I stayed with my family for 7 days and everything was perfect. All of the questions I had, the owner answered very quickly. If you want to stop by a place that's quiet and full of wildlife, this house is a good choice.
This was a lovely cabin to get away to for a week. It is secluded and quiet besides the occasional pontoon boat passing by on the river. There was plenty to do and a small town is about 20 minutes away for groceries if needed. The bed was extremely comfortable as well! Overall I would highly recommend this stay.
Rustic relaxing and quiet
Very cute cabin on the water. The water is busy with Kayaks boats pontoons but it is never bad because of the no wake in front of Cabin.
Lots of wildlife—-watch the deer come down to drink
Ate every meal on the deck over looking the water.
Very well equipped kitchen
Closer to Eagle River then three lakes
Thank you
