Our family enjoyed another relaxing stay here. Jay is so kind and helpful, the property is beautiful, and we love the close proximity to Magnolia Table and Market. We will be back again!
With all the homecoming activities we were barely there during our visit. Though it was outside Waco, still pretty convenient for everything in Waco. Hosts were very nice and responsive.
We stayed here over the eclipse of 2024 and the house and property were absolutely amazing. The house was clean, larger than we expected, beds were very comfortable, and the pool table provided lots of fun for us all. The property is absolutely gorgeous, by far the most beautiful place we've spent time at in a vacation rental. Thank you so much for an incredibly memorable time for our family.

Baylor family with a dog
This property was a little way out of Waco proper... but still easy to get to.
The property manager was very communicative.
Best part was being able to bring my son's dog and staying all together. There was plenty of room and lots of space for the dog to run around outside.
Wife and I toke the gkids to this beautiful place for a long weekend. Great communication and extremely friendly hosts. Felt like family from the get go.
The house was nice and comfortable with plenty of room. The most underrated part of this place is the access too the lake. Clean lake the kids loved swimming in and full of fish.
We will be back!
Our family stayed for our daughter’s BU graduation. It is only about 10 minutes from campus. It is a great location and was peaceful and quite. We had family and friends over afterwards and there was plenty of room for a large gathering. The kitchen was plenty big for catering to a large group. There is a large dining table that seats 10 and a high top table that seats 4. The walk to the small lake is beautiful and the kids enjoyed kayaking. My little nieces especially enjoyed the adorable play house next to the cabin. We played pool and had fun with the juke box. In the evenings when everyone had gone, the steam shower was a welcome escape. It was a wonderful place to gather and celebrate.
We had a great time during our stay. The owners were very attentive and friendly and wanted to be sure we had a great experience. We had chosen to stay here because of its proximity to Waco and several points of interest in the area. My boys were having so much fun doing outdoor things that the only place we went other than a couple of restaurants was the Dr Pepper museum. We hiked, shot our BB guns, slingshots, bows and arrows, and fished. I caught several bass and crappie, all catch and release. The kitchen is adequate so we prepared most of our meals there. The beds were comfortable and rested well. This was a great visit and I would go back without hesitation.
The property and home is very peaceful and serene . Although our stay happened to be during a ice storm . We still made the best of it . The owner lives on the property and is really nice and helpful . It seems as though he is new to this and I’m sure that he’ll get everything worked out . Nothing major but there were no steak knives or can opener but we made due . I would love to entertain the idea of maybe returning when it’s much warmer and possibly due a little fishing or swimming in the lake .
Everything was great except the kitchen could use a few more dishes and pans. Hosted thanksgiving and my family had a great time. I did have to borrow some pans and silverware from my daughter who lives nearby but other than that we had a great stay. The steam room was awesome only issue with the room is the secondary bedroom which looks like an addition was very cold at night maybe a space heater would help
Wayne and his son Jay were awesome. It was good to get away and spend it relaxing, they helped me get acclimated. I was able to still work and decompress and was able to go into Waco too to get supplies with ease
