Sherwood Forest
Perfect for escaping daily chaos and relaxing in the hot tub or enjoying the view while reading in rocker on the porch. Peaceful and quiet and dog welcoming. The drive up was a little intense with such a narrow road, but well worth the adventure!

Great escape
Everything was as described. Very comfortable place. Appreciated being dog friendly. Even enjoyed the workout with the 30 steps getting from the car to the front door. Buckeyes were dropping nonstop... eventually got used to that at night.

Quick Getaway
Great location, plenty of room for two couples. Very good if you have a dog or pet. We felt the deck area was not as clean as it could have been, probably because it does allow pets. However we would still recommend to friends.

Good location for RRG
Overall the stay was fine. However, the lengthy list of expectations (including no dog hair on rugs….) upon arrival for a dog friendly location was a little staggering. The dog run was unusable for our elderly dog. It seems to be primarily for small dogs. Additionally, there was a major ant problem inside the cabin upon our arrival. They were all throughout the downstairs (7-8 at a time crawling across the floor and in the shower). We could not attempt to clean up the floors as instructed during checkout…because there was no dust pan to utilize with the broom and the vacuum did not work. With all that said—the location is perfect for enjoying RRG and outside activities.

Ok corral
The cabin itself was nice had games and puzzles was cozy and had most of everything we needed. Short drive to nearby attractions however the road to the cabin was very steep and narrow with lots of twists and turns.the dog run that looked spacious in pictures is not as big as we thought but was still nice to have for our dogs

Great weekend getaway
Very secluded area and quite all around. Only criticism we had is that the hottub had too much water, it was filled to the top.

Mom and dads home away from home! Kid free😅
We loved this trip!! We had an amazing time! We wanted to go see the natural bridge but there was a 🔥 all weekend. We did 5 trails together and seen amazing views from the tip tops! We would definitely come back and next time bring our oldest two! We really enjoyed soaking our old bones in the hot tub! And sleeping in the loft and looking through the huge a frame house and the giant windows!

Nice cabin
Cabin was very nice and as described. The heat was out when we arrived to the cabin. The property manager came right over to check it out. He ended up having to call in maintenance, who was also very responsive. The issue was fixed immediately. The cabin was perfect for Family of four. Our teenage girls loved the loft and their own bathroom. The hot tub was clean. Very nice patio area. The dog run was a great addition. We enjoyed our stay and definitely stay here again.

Great location!
Hot tub was growing algae and wasn't usable till day 3. They did give a gift card at Miguel's for the inconvenience but still when you have 2 grandsons who were looking forward to it and couldn't use it till day 3 at 9 pm was a big disappointment. The cleaning crew could have done a better job. Rubber toy found on side of bed in the upstairs guest room. Also, dog kibbles we're found on floor in dining room. The outside was loaded with massive webs and spiders and there wasn't anything on the property for us to get rid of them. Perfect Halloween setting but not what you want to see or deal with when arriving at your cabin. Especially since there was no way to get ride of them. We really liked the look of the cabin and having the dog run was useful but beware the dog run is on a steep incline and if you have an elderly or larger dog he will have a hard time using it. The cabin was decorated nicely and was comfortable for the 6 nights we were there. Bathrooms were were nice too. Housekeeping needs to do a better job and owner of property should have property sprayed for spiders . There were massive webs everywhere with spiders the size of a half dollar and there was no way to get rid of them. We would have have liked to enjoy the green Adirondack chairs on the front deck but massive webs with giant size spiders prevented that. We spent most of the time on the back deck, thankfully the maintenance man who fixed the hot tub gave us a broom to help with the spiders out there. The inside of the cabin surprisingly had no spiders that I could see, so that was a plus. Overall we husband enjoyed our stay in the red river gorge area and would come back. I would consider coming back to this place because it was super cute but housekeeping would need to be improved as well the spider nests.

Nice getaway
This was a great location for our 3 day trip to the Red River Gorge. The cabin was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed it so much. The only thing I would mention is the road leading up to the cabin is pretty steep and a bit scary when you first encounter It! Four wheel drive would be beneficial and probably necessary in winter! But honestly, it was a wonderful experience!

"Tree house in Sherwood Forest."
We enjoyed our stay at this A frame (chalet style) property. The outdoor space is beautiful, with the covered back deck and enclosed dog run. This property reminded me of a 'grown-up' tree house (in the Daniel Boone National, Forest.) The interior details, like the hardwood flooring, and Kerr glass sconces, are a wonderful touch. The front porch is a great morning spot for enjoying a cup of coffee. It is a lovely, secluded spot. You will need a vehicle that can trek up to the Lane.

Great property - close to everything in RRG!
Great little cabin nestled up in the hills of Red River Gorge. Very close to the Natural Bridge State Park, and the property is perfect for four people. There is 1 bedroom with a door, and a loft with a bed upstairs too. Hot tub was wonderful & we had a great trip!

Beautiful oasis in the woods
We loved every single detail of this cabin. From the amenities like the hot tub and backyard trail to the heated shower and dog treats given to us from the office. Everything we did was in close proximity to our stay like the Reptile Zoo up the road and the Daniel Boone forest. We booked the cabin to relax and that is exactly what we did! We would book this stay again in a heartbeat!

Visiting daughter
My husband and I were visiting our daughter who lives in Kentucky. The cabin was great. I appreciated the fireplace as the mornings were cold. We also liked the fully stocked kitchen and cooked a meal there. The dog run outside was useful and even came stocked with plastic bags for poop cleanup.

You are being recorded! 😠
Cabin was nice, spacious for 4, comfortable, and arranged well. Decorations were chosen well to suit a cabin in the woods feel. We liked the four chairs on front porch except for being watched by video camera. We would have preferred to be alone in the woods sipping our coffee without people watching and recording us. We did not like the driveway that we got briefly stuck in twice, wheels spinning, due to water filled potholes/ditch? and very steep angled driveway. We did not like video cameras on the front and back of cabin, and maybe elsewhere in cabin we could not see. It was intrusive and gross. Vacuum did not work to vacuum some spilled popcorn. Main Shower had mold in it that could have easily been removed. We were told to start a load of laundry before we left. My husband took downstairs a load of towels, there was a leftover load smelly and damp still in washer from last person. No laundry soap was there to wash the towels. He started our load as he was told and put the sour laundry from last person in dryer. The main bathroom “barn” door was pretty but did not close well so people could not see in and door did not lock. The main bedroom fitted sheet had several small holes in it. I would not return bc of the video cameras recording me. I would not have booked this cabin if I had none I would be recorded while I was attempting to relax and get away. I was going to tell the rental office these comments but when we returned key the office was closed in the middle of the day so we used the drop box.

Wonderful fall getaway!
Where to start, oh where to start! This was such a breath of fresh air having our fall get away at this cabin! From the moment we walked inside to the moment we left, we felt so comfortable and relaxed! The layout was wonderful, the beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a key feature for us that made the trip amazing! Also the grill provided was such a key feature to our dining experience. We decided we wanted to cook and not eat out this trip and it made things so much better! Highly recommend without any doubts!
