Our second time here, had an amazing time. Perfect getaway from the city. Nice and quiet. My husband loves the fishing. We always go home with a nice catch. The beach wasn’t far. The kids love spending time there. Overall an amazing stay. The owners are really great.Communication is top notch. We will be back next year!
Lisa and Mark are fabulous hosts! They are professional, friendly, welcoming, generous, helpful, and rapid responders. My husband and I embraced Oyster Oasis for a month clean, spacious, ample supplies, super comfy mattress, quiet environment. It had everything we needed -- ate all our meals there, hiked all day, crawling back and crashing at Oyster Oasis for our fave shows in the evening. We were blessed to conquer 165 miles thru beaches, forests, state and national parks. Step right out the door to stroll the neighborhood, beach, and a secret trail at Oyster Bay entrance. It was wonderful to have drive-free days and still be active and explore some sights. Thank you for a refreshing stay, Lisa and Mark!

Our stay at this VRBO was perfect from start to finish. Super clean home, comfortable beds, and all the extras you may need (kitchen utensils, games, blankets, towels, pillows). We were right on the canal which allowed for great fishing. Close to Wakula Springs which was a lovely place to visit. Close enough to FSU (we were in town for family weekend) that we were able to get away from the chaos and relax. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Very nice subdivision on a canal that leads to the bay. House was beautiful and well appointed. Checkin and responses from the owner were quick and helpful. Very impressed with the property and the stay. Would stay here again
Beatiful two bedroom right on the canal that leads out to the Gulf of Mexico. Serene location with its own dock. We came to get our 10 year old some fishing practice and Oyster Oasis delivered! Very hungry, small pan fish came right up to the dock and we couldn't bait our hooks fast enough. He was over the moon and we couldn't have been happier with the location or accommodations. This was a 10th birthday weekend he will never forget! Thanks, Mark & Lisa!!
Amazing stay. This is the perfect spot for peace and fishing. Had an amazing stay. Host stay on site very convenient if anything is needed. The only thing if I could change is it’s a bit dated with decor etc.. but if you’re looking for a place to fish and take a break from city life. This is it!
Mark and Lisa were amazing hosts! Their home is clean and well maintained. The property is lovely- overlooking the water. Not too far from town - quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay.

The home was clean, plenty of cookware, nicely decorated, quiet neighborhood, beautiful scenery, restaurants and shopping about 20 minutes away. We would go back for a weekend of relaxation.
Very clean space and excellent location for a quiet trip. If you like to fish or gather scallops then this place is perfectly located and boat friendly.
Me and stepson took fishing trip to enjoy a few days to wet a hook . Trip was all you could ask for, time spent together and catching fish. The house was very roomy and clean. It has dock to tie up to and minutes to the open bay. We will definitely be trying to come back here on next trip down for more fishing.
We stayed a week on Oyster Bay in Mark and Lisa’s home and everything was superb. They house is nicely decorated and clean. We will definitely stay with them again. If you are looking for a place to rent, you will not be disappointed.
We had a great time at Oyster Oasis. The boat ramp and dock were very convenient. Lisa and Mark could not have more accommodating. We are already planning our next trip.
My husband, father and I had a great experience staying at "Oyster Oasis." The location is perfect for fishing and we were able to keep our boat at the dock in front of the house. This is a must since my father is 74 and struggles with long distance walking. The house fully met our needs for a quick 3 day fishing trip. Thank you. Lisa and Mark Maxwell!
