Hummingbird Casita above all the rest.

The Hummingbird Casita is one of the best VRBO properties where we have stayed. The location was perfect for our interests. Paton Bird Sanctuary, Borderlands Restoration, Patagonia Lake, farmers market, local music, restaurants. Elsa provided all we needed to make us feel at home during our stay and was quick to respond when we reached out yo her. The patio in the morning is lovely. The neighborhood was quiet and fun to explore on my morning walks. We love this little home and the town. We tried to reserve March 2023 but the casita was already reserved. I guess the word got out that Elsa and her home are absolutely the best. Thank you Elsa. March 2022

Family time deluxe

We loved staying here. Rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable and everything you would need in the kitchen. While Grandma and Grandpa explored the gravel rides in bikes of the San Rafael Valley, the kids and grandkids explored Patagonia's shops and parks. Had a wonderful time.

Wonderful oasis getaway in the desert

Great value for a quick getaway. Peaceful , quite, and relaxing with many local possiblities such as hiking, fishing, four wheeling, wildlife watching, and picnics in a beautiful desert oasis. The fall season is so exquisite with the changing of leaves and mild mornings. Elisa was very good communicating with dates and check in and out instructions. The hummingbird casita is fully supplied, clean, and organized, with all your needs and then some. I look forward to coming back and seeing what else I can discover in this quaint (diamond in the rough) town.

The best couples weekend ever

Perfect table for all 6 of us - the patio was wonderful, if it had been warmer we would have spent more time out there. Beds were comfy and home was very accommodating for the 6 of us. House was well equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast and easy in and out access to be able to come and go as we pleased. Short walk to our favorite place, the velvet Elvis. We would most certainly return! Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, close to everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Patagonia even though it was raining so much! The casita was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. There was even a basket of toys for the kids to enjoy. Did I mention clean? I think this was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. Loved our visit!

Clean comfortable centrally located. Nice personal touches. We really enjoyed our stay

Elisa was very accommodating even when our group got a bit bigger the day before we were scheduled to arrive. Her home is very comfortable and well stocked for an extended stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook in. Beds were comfy and bathrooms clean. We really enjoyed watching the local javelina on their evening stroll from the living room window. If you come to Patagonia you should stay here. We will book this home again.

Beautiful Casita in an Interesting Town

The “Hummingbird” is so beautifully decorated with every amenity you need for a relaxing evening after spending time at the park, town or driving to the various wineries. I loved cooking breakfast in the beautiful kitchen!!!! Every evening we walked to a local establishment for dinner. The patio, the stars in the evening. LOVE!! Everything was perfection. We had a wonderful time and thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us.

Lovely and Convenient

We came to Patagonia for the fantastic bird watching in the area. The Hummingbird Casita was perfectly located for access to the best sites, allowing us a respite during the midday. The home is spacious, elegantly furnished, with all amenities in great condition. The Wi-Fi connection was superb and the central air conditioning was a godsend. We have used AirBnB extensively in many parts of the U.S. The Hummingbird Casita is the best property we have had the pleasure to rent!

Great vacation house

Was only there for short stay to visithe daughter in nearby Nogales. Clean modern hose with nicely equipped Kitchen. LR is small, but kitchen/ dining easily large enough for 6 people. Alicia very responsored to texts and emails. Plan to stay there again!

Cute house & patio, walking distance to downtown

We loved the house. The patio was perfect. A few miles away from the wineries but I love staying where the is an older "downtown". Walking distance to shops, restaurants & the local saloon. Left one star off because we could hear people outside the Wagon Wheel late at night for several hours. Only one person was bothered by it, the others slept through it. So if you are a light sleeper this may be too close to the local action. Otherwise we loved it! Oh & the beds were very comfy!

A great get away and Home Away From Home!

We had a fabulous get away at the Hummingbird Casita. It is so cleverly decorated and is furnished for every possible need one might have. It is a beautiful home to just relax and enjoy your visit. We definitely hope to return for a future get away.

Comfortable, clean and cizy

My mother and i were very impressed with the personal touches the owner provided! I hope I can go back with other family members to enjoy your space. Our family lived and went to school here in the 60's and Patagonia calls to us at least 2 x year. Thank you!

Very comfortable place

Had a great time! Lovely town. So friendly. The Hummingbird Casita is on a quiet little street close to everything. Of course, in Patagonia, everything is close to everything. Plenty of room. Large dining area and very comfortable living area. This is the place I will check first for availability for our next trip to Patagonia.

Absolutely perfect

This was our first time in Hummingbird Casista, but not our first in Patagonia. We LOVED this house, it's location so convenient to everything. The house itself was spotlessly clean - we had a problem w/LR TV, and the owners were there promptly and . it. We had our small dog with us, and the fenced patio and dog run were great. There were some spices, etc. in kitchen, so we pretty much had what we needed, and if not, the market and Red Mtn. stores were nearby. It is very close to the famous birding in the area, and the lake is not far away. Also, Nogales is only 20 min. away, with larger big box stores if needed. We cannot praise this listing enough, and will hopefully be back again. All the locals are so friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed in this home away from home.

This is the cleanest, nicest place we have stayed in! The owner is very nice and friendly and will to out of her way to make your stay wonderful. Patagonia is a nice small town and most of the people are friendly and nice too. Stay here, you will not be sorry

Patagonia Paradise

Thank you Elisa and Tony for making our first winter vacation such a wonderful experience. Even though Arz. weather threw in a little snow to remind us why we were there. The area is so peaceful and serene, we did not want to leave. The casita is beautiful and fully stocked for every situation that could possibly come up. Every thing was exactly as listed. Everyone in Patagonia made us feel like we had lived there our whole lives. Five stars does not adequately rate this casita or the area. We are looking forward to and planning another visit in the future

I grew up in Patagonia, but moved away in my teens. When my husband and I had the opportunity to build a house in Patagonia I was very excited, it was like having a piece of my childhood back.
We have been married almost 28 years, have 3 wonderful children and 3 crazy dogs. One day we may move back to Patagonia, but meanwhile we love sharing our 'casita'.

Why they chose this property

Patagonia a peceful small town in Southern Arizona. Here there are shops and galleries that you can walk to from our casita. Every 4th of July the town puts on a 'party', with its own parade, entertainment, and fire works. The first weekend in October there is a art festival with a variety of great art and food for sale! A short drive away in Sonoita/Elgin area, there are wineries.

What makes this property unique

Our Hummingbird casita is located just a couple of miles from the Patagonia-Sonoita Bird sanctuary. If you like birding this is the place for you. Patagonia lake is 7 miles away. Boating and swimming areas are available.
Take a peaceful walk around town, and discover the great things that Patagonia has to offer.
