Most favorite VRBO!

Very clean, pet friendly and plenty of space! We always stay here for the Golden Jubilee…even though it was cancelled this year, we decided to keep our booking and explore Gettysburg without the dogs. It’s a great Vrbo with or without pets! Love the fact that it’s a pre-civil war house!

The best place to stay while in Gettysburg!

Hands down, the best house we’ve stayed at in Gettysburg so far! We were 3 guests and 1 dog (me, my husband, our almost 2 year old, and our dachshund.) The house had EVERYTHING and the location is great - close enough to walk to the square, yet far enough away where it wasn’t too noisy. The yard was beautiful, the bathrooms were clean and spacious, they even had a high chair in the closet! The kitchen had everything we needed too. We will most certainly be back next year.

Gorgeous and clean

We were so impressed with how much room we had in the house. All of the rooms were very spacious and clean. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There were plenty of comfortable blankets and pillows and great restaurant recommendations also printed out for us… Neighborhood is quiet, the patio is clean and cozy and just a quick 10 minute walk from town. We had such a great time and we really appreciate the host for having us! He is a quick communicator and made check in and check out super quick and easy for us. Thank you!

Better Than The Pictures

This house is thoughtfully remodeled to house several couples, and each bedroom has a full bath. The primary suite is very large with a bedroom, living room and bath. The remodel is new, and the house is immaculate and well-supplied. The host is incredibly responsive, and we had absolutely no issues to report. The beds are very comfortable. The location is fantastic as you are right in the middle of such an historic area. There are many restaurants within a 3-5 minute walk.

Wonderful historic home in the heart of Gettysburg

This home is absolutely amazing! Within walking distance to all the quaint shops and restaurants in the center of Gettysburg, this historic home has all the charm of the past blended with all the modern amenities of today. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen in any property we have ever rented! From the Keurig duo and tea kettle to spices and automatic paper towel dispenser, it was impressive how organized and clean everything was kept. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the 4 full bathrooms each included soap/shampoo, and the lamps were equipped with USB chargers. The owner was extremely considerate! We traveled during a storm, and he had all the sidewalks cleared of snow and sleet, and he even extended our check out! We added our coins to the wall for good luck. We highly recommend this home and would stay again in a heartbeat! We only wish the weather would have been milder so we could have enjoyed the beautiful patio and firepit.

Awesome location

Property was very clean. Location is walkong distance to shops, restaurants, and part of the Gettysburg Park. Neighborhood was quiet. Perfect for my husband's birthday trip with our dog!Would definetly recommend to friends heading to the area!

In town for Baptism

Can't say enough about the great stay we had this past weekend. Our grandson was being baptized at Lutheran Church at Seminary Ridge, and we stayed as a family (3 couples, baby and Tilly the Bulldog) and hosted lunch for out of town family. House was clean, plenty of room, had everything we needed, and location was perfect--we could walk to the center of town so easy. Definitely would return. Only downside was it was so cold we didn't get a chance to enjoy the awesome patio.

Great VRBO opportunity

This was a very special family overnight in Gettysburg. We chose Gettysburg because it was close to some of our scattered family. The historic stone house was charming, clean, and comfortable, with kitchen items well stocked, tea and coffee supplies, 2 first aid kits, plenty of extra blankets and more. It was the perfect setting for making cozy Christmas memories together as a family, and we will have fond memories of our stay.

I can’t say enough…

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this home and I can’t say enough. It’s beautiful and everything you could want or need is available. It’s close to town, just a quick walk to the square. I look forward to staying here again!

Amazing

Three college friends (many decades from graduation) reunited at this historic home. Everything was wonderful — the location, the house itself, and the thoughtful touches from the owner. Lots of coffee and tea options and a fully stocked kitchen. We slept so well and loved being so close to everything. You'll love it here, too.

Gettysburg history

We enjoyed our stay so much. The property was excellent. We were there for Halloween and enjoyed the Trick or Treaters. So much fun and family time. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit. I would recommend this property and we will definitely stay again.

Fabulous Historic Home with All the Modern Amenities

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The home was spotless! Parking was free and enough for 4 vehicles. There was firewood for a perfect Fall night at the firepit. The 4 full bathrooms, including one that was handicap accessible, were an excellent feature. Can't wait to come back!

First, communication with host was great and very responsive. Location was perfect. Only a couple of blocks from the middle of Gettysburg. House had a nice layout and was an exceptionally clean. Decorated very nice. It was also very well stocked with supplies, bedding, etc. only slight minimal issue was we thought there were two double futons upstairs and there was really only one single. There was sectional couch that accommodated our needs. Easily sleeps nine people. Can do the 12 it references utilizing the couches. None of the 10 of us that stayed complained about being uncomfortable.. would definitely stay again!

Excellent place, perfect location

This place is the perfect spot for experiencing Gettysburg. A 2 min stroll and you’re in the town square, a nice 5 minute walk the souvenir shops on Steinwher it really is the perfect location. The house has everything we needed, will definitely be staying here again

Historic Stone House

Great house in Gettysburg

What a wonderful house! You can’t beat the location - near the Gettysburg square - and the cleanest VRBO we have ever seen with everything you need! Loved the patio and enjoyed its use with plenty of seating. Pawel was a very responsive host! I chose this house based on the many positive reviews, and it was a great choice!

Fantastic stay!!

This was a wonderful home, newly renovated, and well appointed. If I go back to Gettysburg, I won’t want to stay anywhere else. We also had elderly people in our group, and the ADA compliant bathroom on the first floor with the easy no step entrance in the backyard was wonderful. The host was very easy to communicate with!!

Spotless, accommodating, perfectly located for our annual biking trip! Rainy days were filled with battlefield museum tours and walks. Host was easy to contact and provided immediate response to all inquiries. Absolutely lives up to a 5 star rating!
