Lovely tiny house on a beautiful property. Very well appointed with everything you could need for a wonderful, relaxing stay.
Cute indoor/outdoor spaces, super thoughtful host, convenient to Silverton and Salem and not too far from Portland for a day trip. Lots of sightseeing attractions and parks in the area.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The Cat Perch is an adorable, clean tiny house in a lovely, peaceful area. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the host is helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!
Everything about the stay was pleasant but this is definitely a tiny house that is more made for a single guest or possibly a couple, not really for platonic friends both of which are on the taller side. Kitchen could use a colander but everything else was great. Would recommend
We appreciated this very clean, comfortable and roomy RV with 3 slide-outs. The property has a large, beautiful rose garden, a BBQ grill and fire pit. The 2 AC units were not needed, as the breeze was heavenly. The bedroom has a privacy door and the absolutely most comfortable bed ever! We spent 2 very enjoyable nights and will be booking a return visit!
Master bed very comfortable, bedding great. What would have made me give it 5 stars are these things: could use some nicer dishes; could use a nice place to sit just outside the RV (currently a bench like you might find in a park) like a couple of comfortable chairs; washcloths for the bathroom area (towels were very nice); a small side table for outside area and another for inside - to put coffee on while reading a book, watching TV or enjoying owner's beautiful garden view; and a Mr. Coffee type of coffee machine (so you don't need to rely on the supplied Keurig pods). I drink half-caff and brought my own coffee but had to use a funnel and some filters I found to brew it. Despite these minor things I would certainly come back. It was quiet, the owner didn't bother me, the air conditioning worked great, and the wi-fi was very strong. Be aware that there is no oven - just stove top with one adjustable burner (the other burners are only "high," no other lower settings) and a good microwave. I enjoyed the privacy and would just bring the things I've suggested above if I return. The price is right, that's for sure. A Lyft ride to Salem was about $20 for those without a car. I came by train and chose to use Lyft or Uber to go to town once for an outing. The rest of the time I simply enjoyed the "me-time", solitude, and privacy.

Very secluded, quiet motorhome! We had record-breaking heatwave, but AC worked great! Took a while to figure out the tv (it's Roku) but I was able to watch some news, which was all I wanted! Internet was a bit slow in the bedroom, but in the living room I was able to participate in a Zoom call! Angela was responsive & helpful, but also gave me complete privacy! A lovely spot!
