The above 950jährige village Pettstädt (187 EW) is now part of the city Weissenfels. Already the place name refers to old roads that crossed here.
The ecumenical pilgrimage Görlitz-Vacha follows in its course the old via regia and leads directly through Pettstädt.
In the midst of the village, opposite the Church of St. Anna, our family runs a pilgrim hostel.
Our two apartments were built in the former 'Kutscherstuben' our barn that have been completely renovated in 2013.
