3 bedroom ranch style home in the Long Pond section of Yarmouth that will meet all of your vacation needs. Recently remodeled kitchen and bath. This house has comfortable sleeping for 6, full bathroom, cathedral ceiling w/fan in living room, ceiling fans in bedrooms and sunroom, central A/C, washer/dryer in basement, 3 season breeze way, and free wireless. There is a large, private backyard that is partially fenced. A great patio with outdoor seating and a gas grill. Large outdoor shower, which is perfect after a long day at the beach! Nice walking neighborhood, close to bike trail, easy drive to public golf (Bass River, Bayberry Hills and others), ocean beaches (2.5 miles to the popular West Dennis Beach!) and Long Pond. Walk to Dennis/Yarmouth HS for Cape Cod Baseball league games. Small, well-behaved dogs will be considered without additional fees.

Please respect our family home. If any parties are held, the police will be called and you will be evicted without refund. For each guest over the limit, a fee of $100 a night will be charged. There is an outdoor security camera, but there are no indoor cameras for your privacy.

Fall trip

Quiet & private

We had a lovely stay at Shamus’ home. Quiet neighborhood and fenced in back yard was great for our kids. Good sized rooms and comfortable mattresses, although creaky. Great outdoor shower and “bonus” space on the porch was perfect for the kids and stayed cool at night. We used the beach chairs daily. The house was clean as one would expect for a pet friendly home.

Great house

Great vacation home Very nice house private yard. Great walking neighborhood and nice neighbors. Plenty of room and amenities. Love having the bikes to ride and extra tvs. Easy walk to Cape Cod baseball games and short drive to restaurants and grocery store and beaches.

Relaxing Week at the Beach

We had a great week down the Cape and enjoyed our stay. The washer and dryer were in the basement which was a bit of a pain to get downstairs, and they were older which required running the dryer 2-3 times to get things to dry. This meant more trips down the creaky staircase. Other than that and a bees nest in the siding to the outside (dog got stung), the house was clean and ready for us. We did have to go out and buy toilet paper and paper towels while we were there and there was only 2 of us using toilet paper. These are the reasons I rated a 4 instead of a 5. Otherwise I recommend.

Great spot for families with small children and a dog!

My family had a great stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The open layout was perfect for keeping an eye on our small children. We enjoyed spending time on the outdoor patio with our dog. Shamus was very responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic rental property!

We just returned from a weeks stay here. The property is as described and actually more spacious than the pictures make it out to be! The house was very clean upon our arrival and is nicely decorated in typical Cape Cod fashion. Having the extra den room was great for teenagers to have a spot to play xbox during some rainy down time without taking up the whole living room. Check in was easy with use of a lock box. Shamus the owner is extremely responsive. He communicated everything we needed to know prior to our trip. We told him about a minor issue with the grill and he took care of the same day! The kitchen is very well stocked with all cookware you would need, including a crockpot. For us the location is ideal, quiet neighborhood but short drive to many great beaches, restaurants, golf courses, mini golf, go karts and and hour from Provincetown. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Thanks Shamus!

Nice Getaway

It was a great time with my family. The house is spacious, and very close to the beach/shopping/entertainment. Nice neighborhood for a walk. If these is one complaint, I’d say the grill should be replaced. Otherwise, it was a fantastic week.

More than I expected

House was much roomier than it appears in listing photos. Only minor issue was no pantry for groceries. Due to my longer than average stay, I used top of fridge for storage. Minor inconvenience.

Quiet and comfortable

Very quiet neighborhood, good for walking and biking. Very close to all main roads, beaches, shopping etc. Nice fenced in yard, which was great with 2 small dogs. Would definitely rent again.

Cozy Cape home

We stayed at our vacation home from 9/1 - 9/29/18. Home was clean, comfortable and well stocked with kitchen items & blankets (you will only need to bring sheets & towels). Especially enjoyed the use of the outdoor grill and having a washer and dryer readily available. No complaints . . . . thank you Shamus for opening up your home! Perfect cape house with plenty of room for family of 5

We had a great week enjoying this home. Open airy living room and kitchen. Well stocked and nicely decorated. Loved the outdoor shower. Great location and 15 minutes to our favorite Mayflower Beach. Would highly recommend!

Everything you need for a great vacation.

Cute Ranch - Convenient to All!

Cute dog friendly ranch. Loved that it had wood floors - no carpet. (allergies) Didn't have to worry about a thing except bringing sheets/towels/blanket. Had fun biking to the beaches and exploring the Cape. 15 minutes to Chatham or Hyannis, 1/2 hour to Ferry in Falmouth/Wood Hole to get to Martha's Vineyard. 5 minutes from Dennis or Yarmouth beaches and great seafood restaurants (we ate out every meal!) Would stay again!

Loved this house!

My family and I recently stayed at this house the last week in July. The minute you walk in, you feel like home. It was decorated so nicely! It was adorable. It was very clean. Great House and Location!

My family and I loved this house. It had everything that we needed and is close to everything (great beaches, Dunkin Donuts, stores/shops, mini-golf, arcade). The house was so clean and nicely decorated. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Allison and Shamus. They made us feel very welcome. Yarmouth is a great place to spend time with your friends and family. This house was perfect. I would highly recommend it.

3 weeks in "Paradise"

When we arrived from N Ireland there was asign in the window saying "Welcome to Paradise"and 3 weeks later we would have to agree. We really loved it, if we were away visiting Boston, at the beach, visiting relatives or just at the baseball at Y-D high, it was nice to know we were going back to Hazelmoor road where we would be able to relax and chill out. All the facilities were excellent,and the house is well located, handy to all amenities.We would book for next year here and now if itwasn't for the cost of crossing the atlantic!! Once again thanks Allison and Shamus for the use of your house.

A Perfect Vacation Getaway

A few of my friends and I stayed in Shamus and Allison's home after graduating from college. Not only were they kind enough to trust 'college kids' in their home, but they were also extremely helpful. During our visit we ran into some electrical troubles and Allison and Shamus were extremely helpful in helping us navigate the fuse box. The home looks exactly as it does in the pictures. It is very clean and neat, not to mention beautiful. It really is the perfect beach home. The house is located in a very convenient spot, which is great for long walks on beautiful days. There is a Stop and Shop, Dunkin' Donuts, CVS, etc...a couple of blocks away. South Yarmouth is also loaded with places to eat, play mini golf, go bowling, or even drive go karts.
