This was the perfect home for our extended Thanksgiving family stay. We love the fireplaces. Shower pressure was great too. Adorable comfortable home. We will stay again if need be.
Enjoyable! Great communication with owners/renters.
A couple things didn’t quite work, or a light was out, but all very minimal and the owners responded with in minutes normally.

Guests beware
The house is very close to Highlands which is convenient for going to and from town and local activities; however if is right off the highway so can be pretty noisy. Definitely not the quiet mountain getaway we expected. Overall the home is fine and had most of what you'd need for a stay however after we checked out the owners accused us of damaging their property in a fairly significant way. My credit card was charged with a $500 damage fee without any explanation or contact from the owners about the situation. We have stayed at countless VRBO properties in the past and I have never experienced anything like this nor have we ever had any damages to a property where we've stayed. We are very respectful and honest guests so this all came to a shock. When I reached out to the owners to ask about the damage and explain that it wasn't something we did or even noticed during our time there, they never even had the decency to respond. I did dispute the charge with VRBO and refunds were provided but all guests beware when you stay here in case this happens to you.
Was disappointed that we could not enjoy the outside screened patio. We were unable to light the fire pit. I sent a message but did not get a response for homeowner.
Easy as pie to check in. The house was clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were good. The owner supplied almost everything we needed. There is a serious bear theme going on but then it’s not my house. We will be back!
Great location in Highlands! Very clean house with very comfortable furniture for relaxation.
Well equipped kitchen and laundry room.
Good layout with every room on same level.
Would stay again.

Location is minutes to downtown Highlands and within 30 minutes to another quaint towns for exploring... would absolutely stay here again!
We were so fortunate to book this lovely cabin in close proximity to downtown Highlands and the Waterfall Highway. Bed was so comfy. Kitchen is so well supplied. Lovely porch with fire pit,.
