The Commodore is a nice complex on the beach. Located at 4715 Thomas Drive, close to St. Andrews State Park. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit has a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and more. There are many amenities: heated pool, kiddie pool, jacuzzi, sauna, shuffleboard, basketball court, picnic tables and grills, plus 24 hour security. The master bedroom features a queen bed, and the second bedroom has two full size beds. There is also a walk-in shower for easy access. Fully redecorated in June 2021, this unit has everything you need! Come and enjoy the warmth and the beauty of "The World's Most Beautiful Beaches". This unit comes with beach chairs for 2023 (March 1-October 31).

Great beach location but condo needs tlc
Close and wonderful access to the beach. Great place for families. Condo needs tlc … new dishwasher needed, electrical outlets in master bedroom not working, new shower curtains, more cups, glasses, and silverware needed in kitchen. Otherwise great place.

The location of the condo in the condo itself was awesome, however, we did have some issues. The pillows were flat as pancakes. The coffee table looked as if children had eaten on it, and had not been cleaned, we had no washcloths or extra hand towels upon arrival. I had called the after hours number and we didn’t receive any wash cloths until after we had showered twice. The bedside lamps in the master bedroom did not work because there was an electrical problem with the outlets. There was only one outlet in the bedroom that worked. The blinds are falling apart and are very difficult to open. The master bathroom is extremely small. The kitchen is not well stocked. There wasn’t even a pan or cookie sheet of any kind to put in the oven. The condo was very comfortable. I liked the layout. There is a great view of the ocean but due to the location on the second floor and the house next to the building on the west side you cannot see the sunset from the balcony. You must walk to the beach if you want to see it. It’s a short walk to the sand which was very nice.

Beautiful
The complex was nice and well maintained as was the condo itself. The condo had all the basics needed. The view from the condo is beautiful and the balcony is a perfect spot to sit and soak in the view. We saw dolphin everyday! We will be back!

Good location, nice stay, lacking neccessities
Complex is on the quiet end of the strip, a great location to stay away from the hustle. We watched dolphins most days from our balcony. The staff was great- security guard was fantastic and sweet and the morning maintenance man did a great job keep the pool and everything clean. The pool restrooms were definitely sub par- too small and very dirty most days. The condo appeared newly remodeled as described and the furniture and things were great. Now the negatives: there were only 3 bath towels for a condo listed for 6. NO bath clothes, 1 dish towel and 1 old dish cloth. We had to go immediately and buy these things so we could clean up after a long day of travel, and it's over a 15 minute drive to Walmart. We've stayed in a lot of rentals and never had to buy these types of things. There was not even 1 laundry pod, to start their linens when checking out. A few of the dishes were dirty and our feet were black from the floors. Also I recommend mattress and pillow protectors for the beds in a vacation rental! And PLEASE change the blankets/ comforters out after each guest! It's so gross to reuse those. Also it would be great if you got a heads up saying when you will receive check-in info, I had to emai the morning of because we had no contact from the renter since booking.
