Our cute and cozy Carriage House is ready and waiting for you and your dog on your next trip to our amazing small town. Featuring a complete remodel in 2021, our Carriage House has everything you need to stay in style. Walk into the airy space through your own private entrance and relax in the open living area. Catch the big game on the Smart TV or whip up dinner in the decked out kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances. When you're ready to rest and reset, head to the Queen Master bedroom featuring crisp, cool bedding and a spa-like ensuite bathroom. The best part - our Carriage House is pet-friendly for one dog, we'll even provide the bowls!

Super Place & Very Friendly Owners

Close enough to town to park the car and walk to Dining Places, plus to take the Carriage Ride through town to see all the Christmas Lights & mingle with so many friendly people from different areas. The Christmas Spirit has really arrived in Forest City, NC. !!!! Oh, back to the Lodging, owner met us as we arrived with a smile on her face, showed us the ends and outs of the Lodging which is seperate from their home, but is super clean and comfy.

Cozy Carriage House

We wanted to share how incredibly cute this carriage house is along with being very clean. Mallory, the owner, was very responsive and friendly to any communication or needs. We will definitely be back on our next travels to North Carolina.

Third stay at this property

It’s a great cottage in the downtown area that is a short walk to many restaurants and shops. This property is well appointed and very well maintained. The hosts are great folks and do a nice job maintaining their guest cottage. We have stayed here multiple times and always enjoy our visits.

Spring Trip

I drove from Washington State, visiting friends and family, last stop was here before flying home. Very quiet and close to town. Easy to get to from my friends place and just a great setting!! 👍

Clean Convenient Comfortable

Our stay here was perfect. Our hostess made sure everything was just right. I slept better in this bed than I do at home! We will try to book our stay here during all our future trips. Five stars in our book!

A wonderful place to stay!

We stayed here for a wedding downtown and couldn't be more pleased! It was the perfect location for our different events. The house was spacious, clean, and beautiful, every detail was perfect. The ottoman was large enough for our 3rd guest to sleep comfortably. Our dog enjoyed his stay as well! The host was friendly and quick to respond. Couldn't recommend this place more.

It was so cozy and quiet, just would have liked bigger outdoor space, really close to other property.. but loved the decor, very comfortable.Loved that it was pet friendly, that means a lot, I have service dogs for health issues..would definitely stay again..I’d give 9/10

The perfect spot!

This place was great for our stay in Forest City. Our host was very helpful with all questions. The shower was huge and wonderful. The kitchen has everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! We hope to stay here again in the fall!

A wonderful getaway!

My husband, dog and I had a fabulous time at Mallory’s property in Forest City. The space itself is beautifully decorated and Mallory has thought of every detail to make you feel welcome, from food bowls for the pup to a cheese board in the kitchen. The location is great — very walkable to anything you could want to reach in Forest City but still quiet and peaceful at night. Would highly recommend this stay!
