The Hutch Country Inn of Hillsdale

NOTE NAME CHANGE: As of 2023, the Hutch is now a "Country Inn" and no longer a Bed & Breakfast. Everything needed for coffee, tea, and cooking is still provided, but we no longer provide perishable foods.

Located on a small hobby farm, the Hutch is a cozy bed and breakfast that's ideal whether you're visiting Hillsdale College, searching for antiques in Allen, or just looking for peace and quiet. Come stay in a comfortable apartment where you can relax and bring the kids.

Walk in from your private entrance on the cedar deck. An open-concept living room and kitchen area await you; help yourself to the shelves with a good selection of books and table games, and don't forget to sign our guestbook.

SLEEPING/BEDS: The Hutch sleeps up to 2-4 guests. We have a king-size bed in the bedroom that guests love. The other sleeping places might require more discussion, and this makes us list it as 2-4 people, though we did have a big family with five kids squeeze in before. Let us explain: The bedroom has a king-size bed, and the rest of the family can spread out on the futon (1-2 people) and the love seat bed (great for a child or maybe a teen); there's also an IKEA folding mattress that can be placed on the floor and used for another child.

We will produce a video of both the exterior and interior of our place, so potential guests can make an educated decision about booking with us.

KITCHEN: Enjoy a full kitchen at The Hutch, a bed and breakfast in Hillsdale, MI. The kitchen features a full-size refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, and microwave; you'll find the cabinets and drawers stocked with pots, pans, dishes, kitchen tools, etc. Stay warm with our heat in winter or cool off in the air conditioning during the summer. You'll also enjoy high-speed Wifi Internet.

Enjoy the beautiful bay windows at The Hutch, a bed and breakfast in Hillsdale, MI. Inside the apartment, two big bay windows give lovely views overlooking the woods and gardens. Outside, there's a large lawn with a fire ring and firewood in the woods, on the Hutch's side of the property (the west side, closest to the the road). If you want us to build a fire for you, we will.

Smoking is not permitted inside; you may smoke on the deck or grounds. Pets are not allowed.
