Very bad experience
The stay at this property was the worst we have ever experienced. Upon arrival we realised there was not sufficient bedding. Despite it being an apartment that said it slept 6 people - only the double bed had sheets on and there was one blanket. The bunk beds had no sheets, pillow cases or bedding. When I contacted the host they said the booking had only been made for two people, but did they expect adult Father and son to sleep in the same bed? We said we would have to buy sheets, pillow cases etc. We then said we wanted 2 guests to stay overnight for part of the stay (as the apartment could sleep up to 6) and would purchase bedding, to which the host agreed.
We also had to purchase towels because none were provided at the property (we have never experienced this anywhere else we have stayed in France). This should be mentioned in the description so guests know to bring towels and don't have to buy them.
We found the apartment much too basic to prepare food, with no Oven and is was also difficult to clean with no cloths.
After check out the host contacted to say that the property was left dirty which wasn't correct and also that the TV had been taken, which is utterly ridiculous.
I wonder if the host is making this up because they are anticipating we will leave a bad review.
I can see the property has no other reviews and we usually only book ones with good reviews so this will be a lesson to not book a property that has no reviews.
