A PAMPERED vacation in the Castro. It's a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom suite in a 1890's San Francisco Victorian. Great location and the appartments has everything we needed.

We loved the location - easy access to the cable cars and buses that went all the way to Fisherman’s Wharf. Andy was a great host- the airport pick up and drop off were wonderful and the tour of the area he gave was very helpful. We loved our 6 nights in San Francisco and would stay here again. The beds were comfortable and it was great soaking in the tub after our very long days out and about.

Perfect location & great host

Andy’s flat in the Castro is really cosy and welcoming. The place is exactly as described. Really comfortable beds and great bath to relax in after a day of exploring. We loved the character of the neighbourhood and enjoyed the short walk to either the Castro or Noe for our breakfast and evening meals. Andy is so helpful. We were so appreciative of his airport pick up and tour around the area. Only wish we had more time to spend with him. Thanks for everything Andy!

San Francisco Gem

We had a great stay in stay in San Francisco. Andy is the ideal host and was so helpful in making the most out of our stay. The apartment is a little funky but we adapted quickly and it was in an ideal location with access to several forms of transport. There were two different shopping/restaurant areas, Castro Street and 24th Street both with a challenging hill climb on the way home from each. Both these locations had plenty of bars, restaurants and specialty stores. We bought the 7 day MUNI pass and caught the bus back up the hill when we didn't feel like the hill climb challenge. The bus came ever 15 minutes. The train into San Francisco can be busy on weekdays and so we caught the F-tram to Fisherman's Wharf. Highlights were the Cable Cars, the Cable Car Museum and the Alcatraz tour. We did the 6 hour Dylan's tour which was great as it took you all over San Francisco as well as Sausalido and the Muir red wood forest.

Excellent location and host

Great location for Castro street- be aware there is a small hill to get to the property. Host is super friendly and accommodating. Be aware that there is no kitchen sink and the place is a little on the small side, but this did not have a major impact on our stay. Close to some excellent restaurants and bars. A very lively, liberal and accepting place.

A gem in Castro

The unit is small but just right for us the family of 4. It was clean and amenities are provided like cable tv, plates, glasses and even free jacuzzi foam bath! andy offered us to pick up in the airport which was good as we arrived late at night. He also did a quick tour of us surrounding before we checked in. Location was close to public transpo and good exercise in the morning to get your coffee! Overall great experience!

Great Spot in the Castro

Andy was an amazing host. The spot is great, for our family dependent on public transport due to the hills, but very centrally located and a quick ride to everywhere we needed to go. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place to experience life as a local

Cozy apartment with great bathroom, strong WiFi, and a host who goes way above and beyond. Easy, though hilly, walk to two fabulous neighborhood centers, tons of shops, cafes, restaurants, market, public transit. Centrally located to major SF attractions. A total win!

Cozy apartment in lively Castro district

Our helpful host picked us up at the airport. He was very responsive to our requests. The apartment is well equipped and quiet. It's near the many charming restaurants and shops in the Castro district.

Fantastic!!

The apartment is perfectly located, especially if you want to explore the vibrant Castro, and for further exploring there are buses stopping right outside and it’s close to the metro and streetcar! The apartment is very comfortable, the beds are nice there is space to chill out and watch tv. Andy is the perfect host. He knows so much about the area and can answer any questions. He picked us up from the airport and dropped us back. He gave us a tour of the local area and an insight into the history, it meant we connected with the city straight away and was a wonderful introduction. I will stay here again for sure next time I visit San Francisco.

Our stay at Andrew’s place

We had a great visit and our host was a major part of our wonderful time. For starters, he picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. When wife suddenly became ill, he was right there to deliver us to the emergency room and bring us and very convent to all the special attractions the neighborhood and city have to offer. It was great! Thanks Andrew❣️❣️❣️

Great host. Took us on a 15 minute car tour of the neighbourhood and allowed baggage drop off earlier and baggage storage as well. Very comfortable beds and good location with transit right across the street.

Get a way with friends
