Very disappointing experience
To start with the listing does not properly explain that the renter is required, required to pick up the key before 5:00 PM on the day of check-in. So my family and I checked in the morning that of our arrival just before we're about to board a plane from another country. The rent messaged me and said that if I did not get the key before 5:00 PM, he would not be able to get the key to me. Of course I was traveling with children so I started to panic. I asked if he would be able to find somewhere to leave the key. He did not get back to me for hours. In that timeframe, I was so concerned that I ended up renting with that other company, if you know what I mean.
I did not cancel my reservation because I was still in conversation with the owner about how to get my money back for not being able to get the key before 5:00 PM. Our flight was not arriving until after 10:00 PM.
The owner was not easy to communicate with he was not willing to refund my money. And he did not take responsibility for the poor communication which led to my very poor experience with this owner.
I would say the only way that you would have any ability to appreciate this property would be if you were French and lived in France. Because any traveler from another country who has erratic flight patterns and potentially be delayed, would have to risk going through the middle of a foreign country with no knowledge of trying to find where you're going to sleep that night!
