Studio with mountain view balcony Alpe d' Huez Eclose district

Studio with non-separate sleeping area for children (bunk beds) of 25 m2 with an equipped kitchen, a 140x200 sofa bed (slatted base and bultex mattress) and a south-facing balcony equipped with a standing table and 2 stools.
Private lockable ski locker and bicycle room shared with the other tenants of the residence (provide a padlock).
This apartment is equipped as follows: dishwasher, induction hob, combined oven, refrigerator, duvets and pillows, vacuum cleaner, kettle, toaster, NESPRESSO coffee maker, hair dryer, television.
Parking is possible in front of the residence upon your arrival and departure but you will then have to move the car elsewhere for the rest of your stay. Parking is free on the streets but there are also paid covered car parks (see the station website).
You will find fresh bread and croissants every morning at the “super U” just opposite.
The Alpe Express gondola (to the left of the super U) (free) takes you to the snow front towards “Bergers” (be careful closed in the evening access to the city center on foot).

The apartment is on level -2 and there is no elevator.
There is no WIFI but you can rent a box at the tourist office.
In the key box – code transmitted on the day of your arrival – you will find 1 key that opens the door.
In the apartment you will find 1 key for the ski locker and 1 other key for the front door (blue cord).
Bed and bathroom linen will be delivered to you between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. by the Loclinge company.
The beds will have to be made and unmade by you.
When you leave, please put the laundry back in the bag (duvet covers, fitted sheets, pillowcases, bath sheets and bath mats) and leave it at the front door. The mattress pads must remain on the beds.

* slippers

It is forbidden to move around with ski boots on your feet in the residence.
Bring slippers to go from the ground floor where you will need to take off your shoes to the apartment and to the ski locker.

Your arrival is scheduled after 3 p.m. and your departure before 10 a.m.

When you check out, please

*to do the housework
*put the dishes away in their place
*clean the fridge and leave nothing in the fridge
*put your bed linen, towels and bath mats in the “Loclinge” bag
*turn down the heating,
* turn off the lights,
* close the windows,
* empty the trash cans (containers in front of the Eclose shopping center),
* put the blue cord with the key to the ski locker and the entrance back on the coat rack
*put the door key back in the key box and scramble the code.


The Résidence Le Grand Sud is very well maintained and recently renovated, it is located just opposite the Eclose shopping center (restaurants, ski rentals and supermarket) and the Alpe Expresss cable car (50m walk). The center of the resort (Avenue des Jeux and Palais des Sports) is a 6-minute walk away. Located on a south-facing plateau at an altitude of 1860m, Alpe d'Huez and its ski area enjoy maximum sunshine: you will enjoy your day of skiing with the sun: up to 7.5 hours of sunshine in December, up to 'at 11 hours of sunshine in April. Météo France observes on average 300 days of sunshine per year at the station. In good weather, 1/5th of France is visible from Pic Blanc.
