Beach Getaway

A quiet retreat

This is the second time that we have stayed at this rental. The neighborhood is quiet and beach access is just a short walk from the house. The deck and living room offer views of the ocean. The house is clean, neat, and very comfortable. We look forward to our next visit!

Great time!

The property was clean and well setup. The beds were comfortable and the floor plan is very functional / spacious. The property owner was very easy to work with. There is access to a fantastic beach right down the street. There is a great view from the property. Its located in a very quiet area that has everything you would need only minutes away. I would highly recommend staying at this property and I would certanly stay there again.

Perfect House

House was great for the seven of us. Loved the open kitchen and the dining room table was perfect for playing games. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and seeing the whales go by. We all enjoyed the house very much. And the host was very responsive if you had questions. Thanks guys.

Beautiful deck view

Our framily stayed here and loved the space. The kitchen/dining/living space was perfect for us to all be together and enjoy the beautiful ocean view. The game room was perfect for the young adults/teens. The house was very clean, and all of the rooms are big. Easy walking distance, or short drive to beach access. During low tide we went out to the end and checked out the tide pools. There were also two deer and a fawn that we were able to observe walking and eating in the neighborhood. My only suggestion would be to bring a pair of binoculars to observe whales swimming by from the deck of the house. It was a wonderful stay! Thank you for sharing your home!

Beautiful and Spacious

We had a great time showing our Midwest family members the Oregon coast. This home made for an excellent home base. Plenty of room for us to spread out, gorgeous views, and an awesome deck to lounge on. We loved our time here.

Family Getaway

Salishan golf trip

Group of salishan golfers came in to town for the member member tourney. This house was only about 15 minutes from the course and also super close to the beach, had a good time.

Lovely Mothers Day weekend

We had a wonderful stay over Mother’s Day. The weather was perfect, the house was lovely, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The pool table was a nice feature and the open kitchen/dining/living room area was perfect for socializing with three generations- grand parents, uncle, aunt, parents and grandkids. Perfectly wonderful. Would recommend bringing your own pillows if you are particular, and maybe some camp chairs for additional (and more comfortable) seating on the spacious deck.

Nice house with some minor issues

House was beautifully decorated and beds were very comfortable. It was very clean except the grill, it had burnt food and caught fire when we turned on. The couches pictured were not accurate. The sectional there was not as pictured and was very uncomfortable. Remote was missing batteries. Jetted tub was not working which was a bummer, was looking forward to a nice bath. Hot water ran out mid bath. It was 10 pm and didn’t call host since we didn’t want to inconvenience our friends and have someone working on it that late at night. It’s also very confusing to pay such a big cleaning fee and still have to strip beds, take garbage out, clean grill ( which was not cleaned for us), start dishwasher, start a load of laundry??? Anyways not huge things but still things to consider.

Wonderful Family Gathering

We really enjoyed our visit. Plenty of room and privacy for multiple needs from quiet naps to enjoying meals together. Close enough to walk to beach to view tide pools or easy drive for taking chairs and beach toys. Beautiful deck with beach views. Would visit agiain😀😀😀

So Peaceful & Cozy

We had an incredible stay, so much so we were looking to see how we could extend our stay and book more time. Great views of the ocean with a short walk to the beach. The home was incredibly clean, the couch was so cozy and comfy. Great beds and soft sheets as well. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Staying here was so incredibly peaceful and the highlight of summer.

Ok view, not worth the cost

We came with a large family and two dogs. We were disappointed that the view was so obstructed and the "steps to the beach" was closer to two blocks. The kitchen didn't have some essentials like dish soap, a sponge or scissors. The beds were very comfy. The host was out of town the week we stayed and wasn't available when a lighting fixture fell from the ceiling and shattered. Thank goodness no one was hurt. I expected an apology for that alarming incident but instead received angry texts demanding we pay more than the cleaning fee and pet fee we had already paid because the cleaner "had to wash the comforters." This seemed strange to me as I would assume the bedding is always washed between guests. He also complained of dog hair everywhere but that tends to happen when you allow guests to bring dogs and why we paid an extra fee. We have been coming annually for 8 years and have never had such issues with a host. While I am sorry he incurred an unexpected charge, we paid our fees and did as asked (stripped the beds, took out the garbage and did not allow pets on the furniture). We did leave collected recycling hoping it might be dropped at the recycling center, but he was mad about that too. Unfortunately, the positive aspects of our experience have been overshadowed by the alarming light fixture issue, the indication that the bedding is not routinely washed between guests, and this interaction with the host. A very sad situation to be in.

Nice home with a view

Our family had a great time. The house was beautiful and clean and our teens enjoyed the pool table. My mom loved the jetted tub and we all enjoyed watching the deer come as visitors. The neighbors were very friendly too! It was a great time to get away with Grammy and Grandpa. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Pleasant stay with a view.

NIce view off the balcony. Generous sized kitchen and eating area. Easy walk to the beach. Owner had quick response when 3 year old unwittingly locked the bedroom door (fortunately with her outside the bedroom).
