Rude owner, pics don’t match what was in the house
Pictures did not match as to what was actually in the house. We had wet laundry in both the washer and dryer and was told it was part of the change on our up process. No clue what that meant and was not happy doing other peoples laundry owner was very rude.

Getaway
Everything was as it was described. Perfect for just the two of us. Very responsive owner and even let us check in earlier than expected. Would recommend checking it out. Close to town and Yellow Springs.

Visiting Yellow Springs and Dayton area
Good location to the area. Parking was a little tricky, could use more lighting. Nice house, perfect for my friend and I to hangout and see the area.

Bed posed an issue
I booked this rental for me and my husband's anniversary trip to Yellow Springs. We probably would have had a fine stay, but we found the bed terribly uncomfortable. We tossed and turned all night and kept waking through the night sore and having difficulty getting back to sleep. Not being able to sleep through the night on a supposed relaxing trip was really disappointing. We ended up not staying for our second night, opting to go home to our own bed instead. And, the futon was an option, but only if we wanted to be sleeping directly on top of each other all night. Another issue I had were the hard water stains. I'm from the country, and had hard water growing up. It leaves deposits and can smell odd. However, with proper maintenance, can be managed. There seems to have been no effort to remove any of the hard water deposits anywhere. The shower handles and caddy are covered, as is the entire inside of the dishwasher. It is just a bit off-putting. The host was kind and easy to communicate with. Hopefully some of these issues can be resolved so others can stay comfortably near the fun, quirky town of Yellow Springs.

Little Blue
This was an excellent one-night stay for my wife and me. We appreciated the proximity to Yellow Springs and how clean and comfortable it was. This was my first time in a "tiny house," and I was expecting to have to "sidle" from room to room, but was happy to find that there was plenty of space to move about normally. It's more spacious than the pictures led me to imagine! Thanks to the host for helping us check in when we first arrived. I do agree with what the previous reviewers have said about the sleeping arrangements, but I appreciate the thought that went into the creation of the house itself. One thing I didn't see mentioned that future visitors may want to know about is the shower set-up. There's an angled showerhead at what I would call a "standard" height, as well as one directly above the middle of the shower floor (refer to the listing's photos). The angled showerhead can be used one its own, but turning on the middle overhead one as well required me to stretch while on my tippy-toes (I'm 5'8"), and extra-carefully so to turn it off (while the tiling was still wet!). But overall I'm glad to say just that was the only concern I can think of that came up during our time.

This property is well situated, close to Xenia. The tiny house provides all the comforts of home.
Charming, nicely set up. The stairs to the loft were not a problem for us, but it's something to consider. We would definitely stay here again. The host was good to keep in touch when we had questions.

Tiny House was awesome!
The Tiny House is just as it is listed. The loft was a little tricky at first, but after a couple of times up and down - it became a lot easier. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Tiny Home
This is a very cute and clean tiny home and we had a great stay here. The tiny home is on a main road so there is some traffic noise but if that doesn't bother you then this is a great place to stay. Host is very friendly and responsive. Worth checking out!

Tiny house
The house had everything you would need despite the tiny space. And was well appointed. The loft took a bit to get in and out of but the futon downstairs worked great and was comfortable. The location is very good access to restaurants and Starbucks! The only issue is the road noise. But turning on the fan lessened that and it does get quieter at night. It was fun to explore a tiny house. All an adventure!

Tiny Blue House
Owners were quick and helpful with communication which we appreciated traveling in from out west and having flight changes. Loved the history, feels like a home not just a house, and the full kitchen is a wonderful asset. Definitely a highlight stay on our college tour trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in a tiny house. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The loft is a little tricky to get in and out of, but this 50-year old managed it even in the middle of the night. Small touches like coffee and creamer, water bottles in the fridge, and a toaster oven were great and allowed us to have breakfast in the house rather than eat every meal out while visiting the area.

Good Value
For our short stay my husband and I spent very little time at the tiny house, we spent most of our time in Yellow Springs, Clifton Gorge and hiking in the surrounding parks. The house was a short drive from everything we wanted to, which was perfect. But since we were out so much we didn't utilize all the amenities of the house, like the kitchen, which seemed well appointed. The house was clean and had everything we needed, but it should be noted that the sleeping loft is physically difficult to get to. The steps leading to the loft are a bit steep, and the treads are very uneven making it cumbersome to climb. The entrance to the loft is also rather small/narrow. My husband and I had no trouble with access, but we did discuss that someone very tall or heavy set might have trouble with access. That being said there is a futon on the main level as well, so if the loft isn't your thing the futon is an option. We also noticed that the adjustable mattress in the sleeping loft would lose firmness overnight, so on the second night we set it extra firm to start and slept much better. The shower heats up quickly and maintains water heat but does lose water pressure rather quickly, we couldn't take back to back showers and maintain adequate pressure. Overall the value of our stay was good. There were a couple minor challenges that we easily overcame (water pressure and mattress firmess), and the location and price were great.
