Bring the whole family and get your toes in the sand! This is a charming 1950's oceanfront beach house with 8 bedrooms and 4 bathroom, private board walk to the beach, updated kitchen, rocking chair porch and the most beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic ocean. This is 2 story home with 4 bedrooms on each floor. In the lower level there is a ping pong table for a little family competition. On the 2nd level you will enjoy a new kitchen with quartz counter tops, an open living area with ocean views and an additional 4 bedrooms.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house at 3308 was just fine but the house did not come with laundry soap, cleaning supplies, food storage containers or baggies, beach towels, extra towels, bath matts or spare sheets. There were only enough packets for one load of dishwashing per day. It was bare bones and felt extremely skimpy.

It is an older home as described and the bottom floor had odor of an old home that had been shut up and not used frequently during the winter. Kitchen was well furnished and there was plenty of gathering space for visiting. Great beach access.

Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for the # of bedrooms and bahs, for a family reunion. one of the septic tanks was full, and we had to use only 3 of the bathrooms for 2 days. there was a leak under the kitchen sink. All was repaired, and we received compensation for the inconenience of the bathroom situation. Unit was clean. Several lamps didn't work. overall, we would rent again, due to accommodation of br and ba.

It's an older home, but it was very clean and you can't beat the location. It is right on the beach and approximately half way between the park and marina. We could walk directly out to the ocean on a private boardwalk and everything else was a short bike ride away.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Charming older home that could definitely use some renovations. Location fantastic and the deep porch facing the ocean was lovely. Downstairs rooms musty. Most mattresses should be replaced. The foam tops are bad for spines. Kitchen needs a garbage disposal. Bathroom exhaust fans didn’t work. Our outside trash and recycle bins were almost full when we arrived.

Reviewer Comments: Being a local and having rented beach houses my whole life, we found the perfect house for our family to enjoy our son's wedding on the Isle of Palms. This house is well equipped for cooking, with lots of pots, pans, glasses, serving dishes, etc. The open floor plan on both floors was perfect. The porches were big and gave a beautiful view of the beach. It was more than enough room for the 14 that stayed there, with extra room for a few last minute sleepover guests.

We had rented this location about 10 years ago, and it seems updated. There were several broken chairs, but we could work around. Check in/out process was easy. The lower floor at ground level had a bit of a musty odor, but not terrible. The dining space was adequate for our large family. The furniture and fixtures could use some improvement. The beach location, bedroom configuration was just about right for us though. We had a good time.

Walk to the beach is easy. House is older but there are no issues with it, and it's a great value! Yard was big enough for games and grill worked well.There were bikes we were able to use, some games, puzzles- all the things that make a great rental!Washer and dryer are new and worked great!There are no screens in the windows. Totally fine- we used the AC, but in April we probably wouldn't have needed to.Would stay again!

Extended Family Vacation

The house and grounds are beautifully decorated, and we add everything we needed for small or large dinner gatherings. The dunes and beach are splendid, and we were able to enjoy nice restaurants on Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island, and tour Charleston as well. Wild Dunes golf courses and Charleston National are great close by golf courses. Wednesday nights at Awendah Green is great live music and food (cash only). We would not hesitate to rent this house again. If anything, it is a bit nicer than the listing portrays it. Our group ranged in age from 27 to 72, and everyone loved it!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed this house. Have stayed in several rental homes and this one had the absolute most well stocked kitchen ever. Loved that fact!! Very spacious and suited our needs completely. Would highly recommend. We did have trouble with the keyless entry keypad. Battery went dead and rental office never fixed it so we couldn't lock the door. Housekeeping shorted us hand towels but we managed. Overall, wonderful place.
