Come let the loons sing you to sleep in this new 2-bedroom cabin on beautiful Solberg Lake.

The cabin comes fully furnished with towels, bedding, silverware, cookware, etc. air conditioning, and satellite TV. It also offers a dock for boat parking, large deck for relaxing and grilling on the lakeside, and a fire-pit for fish stories and s'mores. Solberg Lake itself offers breathtaking sunsets and fantastic fishing on all of 1,000 acres for walleye, musky, bass (large and smallmouth), and all panfish. For the nature lover you can head into Chequamegon National Forest just across the street.

Bars, restaurants and boat landing are within walking distance. We are located approximately 5 miles from Phillips which has all your shopping needs.

My stay was perfect. The cabin is comfortable, clean, and has a well-equipped kitchen. A cart is provided for transporting luggage and supplies from car to cabin. I was looking for peace and quiet, and I found it.

Stayed in this charming lakeside cabin. The property is meticulously clean, very well equipped and super comfortable. The owners guest booklet tells you everything you need to know plainly and directly. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Water view, sunsets, dog friendly, clean as a whistle

The property is 25’ from the water, was up to date, very nicely furnished, spacious, had everything we needed, close to great restaurant, parks, and Phillips was close for groceries, and restaurants. We could have fished right off the dock. We had a campfire every night while awaiting the sunsets. Comfortable beds and furniture. The only thing that was a bit difficult for us because of our age and bad knees, was having to take our luggage and food for the week down a hill. They provided a large wagon at the top. It wasn’t bad going down, but pulling the wagon back up several times to pack up was hard. Anybody w/a disability need to know about this ahead of time. We did it, and would come love to come back again…just would have packed differently and brought less. We met Jim the host a couple of times…very helpful and a nice person! It was a great choice!

Outstanding Retreat

Cabin was well decorated and it felt like home. Very clean. Wonderful view of the water from a nice deck. Sunsets were the best. The wood ceilings were unique. You can't get any closer to the water than this cabin.

Wonderful

One of our best stays ever. Place was extremely clean with everything you would need. The westward view over the lake was incredible with wonderful sunsets. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Pictures don't do the cabin justice--the interior was recently remodeled and felt like home.

Beautiful cabin and beautiful lake. Places to eat nearby. Owners are very nice and really enjoyed being able to kayak the lake. So happy that they allowed us to bring our dog. Will definately come back again.

Labor Day weekend

This was the perfect property for a relaxing family weekend! It's right on the lake with a private dock, a fire pit, and a deck to hang out and play games. My kids fished off the dock and caught a couple, the sunsets were beautiful and the mornings were so quiet and peaceful! Would definitely recommend.

Best Sunset Ever

The only complaint i had was website booking stated check-in was 4pm, check-out was 11am. Once got there, rental manual stated check-in was 2pm, check-out 10am. With that said, that sunset from that dock, was the most beautiful sunset i ever saw. Will be booking another stay for sure.

Lakeside Relaxation!

This cabin is new and has all the necessary modern amenities. We've rented multiple properties across northern Wisconsin over the years, and this cabin is one of the very nicest we've enjoyed. The refreshing lake breeze meant we never needed the air conditioning, but it's nice to know it's there if the weather is really hot. The long, tree-lined driveway means you rarely hear any traffic. The hosts are next door and readily available to answer any questions, yet there's enough distance between the properties for privacy. The rental process was seamless and problem-free. Phillips is a nice size town with a complete grocery store and other retailers so don't worry if you forget something -- you can find it in town, along with some great souvenirs and bargains. Check out the area farm markets for delicious bakery, produce, salsas, jams, etc. There are plenty of things to do and see in the area, or you can just hang out on the deck or dock and enjoy the sound of the waves lapping the shore. Highly recommended for rest and relaxation!

Great Lakeside Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family. It was clean, nicely maintained, and had all the necessary amenities that you would expect. Jim met us on when we arrived and answered all of our questions about the cabin, lake, and surrounding area. We loved the fact that the lake was less than 100ft from the door. It was also nice to have a boat dock for our boat. The landing for launching was also less than a 1/4 mile from the cabin. Overall, it was a nice trip for our family and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet lake get away.

Once Upon a Lake Life in the Northwoods

Yet another summer past time at this location only to be filled with memories created and shared on the lake. The gentle side of the Northwoods can be found here and it doesn't take much to take it all in and simply... relax. The owners of the property are wonderful and great with communication. Cheers to them for creating a wonderful experience!
