Family Reunion Paradise

The property couldn’t have been more beautiful and perfect to serve as the hub for our family reunion. The view from the yard and the great room is nothing short of spectacular.

Lovely Stay in a beautiful cabin in the mountains

This property was absolutely perfect for our family. We checked in on 12/28 and spent a fabulous New Years with all of our children and Grandchildren. The house was very accommodating for our size family which included adults and children between 1-6 years. Having multiple bathrooms was a huge bonus and all of our married kids had their own bedrooms. Putting kids down for naps in the quiet space made for stress free parents and happy kids. We knew in advance that there were no baby items or kids toys so we just packed what we needed so the kids would be entertained. We played games (brought up our own table with folding chairs) late into the nights and the kids colored and did crafts and watched movies and played and sledded in the fresh 10" of snow that we got while up there. The house is VERY well stocked with all the kitchen stuff you would need as well as towels, blankets and bathroom necessities. We loved it and hope to be able to spend more New Years get-a-ways with our family. We also loved that we had access to brooms, dust pans and vacuums as we like to tidy up after meals and the kids crafting. This is a great place and believe me, we try to get a cabin in the mountains every year for New Years and this one is not top on our list!!

About the host

Host profile image
The owner built the "cabin" to enjoy the winter sports in the area. He loves the back country snowmobiling the area offers. The cabin is available most anytime in the summer but you have to compete with the owner for winter use!

What makes this property unique

Huge home with 5 bedrooms and 7 beds that can host a very large family or a group of friends. It is right off the paved road and about 2 miles from the "amenities" in Featherville (cafe, bar, store). It is located about 8 miles from Anderson Ranch Reservoir and is about 1/2 mile from the golf course. Trails, back country roads and adventure await!
