Some of the best snowmobiling is only a 40 minute drive to Rabbit Ears Pass. Ski within an hour at Steamboat, Copper Mtn and Winter Park- all on the Ikon Pass.
You will have full access to the main level of the house, large driveway and deck. You'll park and enter the home on the garage side of the home. There is no access to the garage or basement. There are no shared spaces.
We’ve recently finished the walk out basement, so check out our other listing if needing a larger space.
We may occasionally be in the basement (especially during winter months for snow removal). but it would never be occupied by other VRBO guests while you’re there. The basement has its own separate entrance & driveway and is located on the opposite side of the house from where you enter.
We are always a phone call or text away to answer and address any questions or concerns during your stay.
We'd like your stay to be as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
In the winter, we keep the driveway and walkways clear of snow.

Great house!

My husband, teen boys and two friends stayed at this house for a snowmobile trip. The house was very spacious, had great parking, well stocked and even had heated floors! The property manager was very helpful. They would definitely stay here again!

Nice, Clean, Affordable rental with a View

Mike was very responsive and a pleasure to talk to - very helpful! The house was very clean with plenty of ammenities/cookware/supplies etc to live comfortably, including some seasonings/coffee/toiletries and other odds and ends that saved us from a wasteful purchase at the grocery store. Hell of a view on the front porch too, in fact 360 degrees around the house for that matter!Had lots of fun snowmobiling the local mountains and visiting a handful of local restaraunts - cinnamon rolls at the grand old west, pizza from last chance pizza, and mexican at Los Amigos are must-trys!

About the host

Hosted by Mike Fredericksen

Host profile image
Mike is from the CA desert and Heather came from Alaska. We both met in Colorado and love outdoor sports here. We enjoy hosting and can offer insights into the area.

Why they chose this property

We chose the town of Kremmling for its easy access to snowmobiling at Rabbit Ears and Buffalo Pass. We also enjoy other year round sports like hiking, SUP, biking, and dirt biking.

What makes this property unique

The vaulted ceilings, skylights and wood floors make this home feel spacious and bright, with a cabin feel. The radiant/in-floor heating is a favorite because it warms you from the feet up. We love that the deck faces south with views of the Gore Range and Gore Canyon.

Kremmling is centrally located with 4 directions to travel and explore. North: Rabbit Ears Pass and Steamboat. East: Grand Lake, RMNP, and Winter Park. South: Copper, Breckenridge, and Keystone resorts. West: fishing and rafting on the Colorado River and Vail Resort/Eagle County.
