Waterfront Porch, Waterfront Patio, Private Dock, Patio Bar w/frig, & Adirondack Chairs.

Split level with 1st Floor Master enSuite, Full Bath, beautiful Bay Front, sitting room w/tv, mini frig, sliders to the waterfront patio, & outdoor shower w/hot & cold running water. Laundry room is also on the 1st floor. Garage access is on the 1st floor.

2nd floor includes Full Kitchen w/stainless steel appliances: dishwasher, range, microwave, refrigerator/freezer. Pass-thru Window to the gas grill for convenient grilling. Dining room with sliders to the porch overlooking the bay; living room w/ large Bay window and flat screen TV & sofa w/Queen sleeper foldout.

2nd floor also has waterfront Master enSuite with full bathroom; Queen Bedroom, Kids room with bunk beds including 1 full bed & 2 twin beds. Full Bathroom in the hall. All bedrooms include a TV and Large closet.

Location Description:
It's easy to Boat, Bike or Drive to enjoy the boardwalks, dining, shopping and excitement of all Ocean City, Rehobeth Beach, or Bethany Beach and then seek respite in the quiet, residential town of South Bethany. South Bethany is known as the “Quiet Resort” so, if you are seeking a party house, this will not be a good match.

If you are new to the area, South Bethany Beach is located 5 miles north of Ocean City, Maryland, 10 miles south of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and 1 mile south of Bethany Beach, Delaware.

Delaware offers tax-free shopping. This property is located @ the last traffic signal in South Bethany heading south to Ocean City; on Kimberly Road; Bayfront; behind York Beach Shopping Center where Rosenfeld’s Deli, Grotto Pizza, Local Sushi, and the Hookem & Cookem Bait & Tackle shops are located.

Within walking distance, enjoy the Beautiful Delaware guarded beaches or National Seashore Beaches which allow fishing, & permits for vehicles.

We would go back!

The home was beautifully situated at the end of the canal just a short bike ride to the quiet beaches of the southernmost part of South Bethany. It suited 3 generations quite nicely, eight of us in total ranging from 9 to 83 years old. The lower level outside area was perfect for a working environment, yard games, and amazing sunsets. The dock was great for launching kayaks, paddle boards and fishing. All the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Although the outside areas and screened-in deck were some of the best features, the inside was very clean and nicely done!

South Bethany Beauty

The house and location were as advertised. You could walk or drive to the beach quickly and parking wasn’t an issue. Beach parking passes were provided. Close to ocean city, rehoboth beach, dewy beach. Communication was good. Would recommend a family and/or friends stay here. We enjoyed our time.

Not the best fit for us

House accurate to pictures on website. However, quality of mattresses and kitchen cutlery, utensils, grille tools were poor. Ants crawling all over kitchen counters our entire stay. Wanted to bike one day and opted not to as I was not comfortable with the quality of the bikes provided. Not enough main living/common area and seating for the number of people it can accomodate for sleeping. We had a group of 8 and there wasnt enough seating in the main area for us all to relax together as a group. Some of us. Some of us had to sit at dining table or went back to bedrooms. Which was a bummer. We would have preferred to spend the evenings together as a group in the main area. Plenty of seating for eating. Screened in porch was a nice option. Porch area under the deck is a very lovely area, especially for anyone that enjoys relaxing with a good book. Walk to the beach wasn't horrible, but also just far enough that our group found it to be annoying and didn't want to be making the trek multiple times in a day. Driveway can accomodate 4 cars or small SUV, but not 4 larger vehicles. We had a quad cab pick up truck with a full bed, a suburban and a small SUV and it was a tight fit. Will not return to this property. Was not a good fit for our family.

Great beach vacation property.

The house was in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely outdoor space. Fully equipped for a beach vacation. Our family of 10 was very comfortable in the house, lots of room. Everything in the house was labeled which was fantastic. Very close to the beach, stores and restaurants. The owners thought of everything to make this a superior rental.

Beach Week 2022

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The 1st floor master suit was perfect for our son and daughter-in-law and their 2 month old. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. We loved having use of the bikes and kayaks. Donna was great to work with. I would recommend this property for a relaxing beach vacation.

Family get together

We have 2 kayaks and the house had 2 and 2 paddle boards. We used them often and went on expeditions. It was hot but the house was cool. It’s was a good house for the whole family and kept us all in comfort in a very hot week. The passes for parking at the beach were great as was the outdoor shower, the grill, the many refrigerators and comfy beds. We would come again.

Family getaway

Donna is excellent at answering questions in a timely manner. We loved being right next to the canals for kayaking. South Bethany beach is quiet and not too crowded. It was nice having the free parking passes for parking on the side streets in south Bethany. The house is an older house, but has updates throughout the house. Some of the appliances need updating, but it isnt a big deal. The TVs in the bedrooms are small, but we made the set up work for our needs. The house is definitely comfortable and we were all able to spread out so we had our own space. The mattresses were comfortable and we all were able to get a good nights sleep. I would recommend renting this property.

Great Spot for a family trip!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house on the bay! The layout was great for spending time together - we loved the screened in porch. The location was a quick drive from downtown Bethany and, while we didn't use them, the kayaks were a perfect touch.

Hidden Treasure!

What a wonderful family friendly environment! Walking distance to the beach, spacious and clean. I cannot wait to go back!!! Strongly recommend this property to anyone who is interested in visiting Bethany Beach!

Great vacation!

This house was very nice. Yard and canals great for kayaks and hanging out. Great location... easy walk, bike ride to beach. Easy car ride to Bethany or Rehoboth boardwalk. Close to great restaurants activities for little kids. Beach was clean but waves were kind of overwhelming. Not sure if this is the case all the time.. Traffic in and out of area is a challenge certain times of the day. Be sure to check this out on blogs to have the best travel experience. Overall, we would stay here again.

Great house in a great location!

My family and I rented this property for a quick weekend getaway and it was perfect. It's right on the water and comes with kayaks which we loved taking out on the water. We will definitely be returning!

Great family vacation

The house was just as advertised -- clean, well-furnished, and situated in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to the beach. We enjoyed using the kayaks and launching from the backyard, as well as riding bikes to the local ice cream shop. The only negatives were that no linens of any sort were provided (not advertised in listing) and that 2 of the 4 parking spaces advertised were filled by a pontoon boat. Otherwise it was a wonderful location for a family vacation and we'd gladly stay again.

This was a great place for our family of 2 adults and 6 kids. Lots of space to spread out. The community felt very safe. Kids enjoyed walking to the beach, kayaking, and fishing off of the dock. Also, the screened in porch was perfect for evening card games.

Perfect Beach House!

Our stay was amazing! Loved our time in Bethany. The house is so clean and close to many shops and restaurants. Donna was easy to communicate with and super helpful. The backyard was also amazing and the perfect place to relax on a nice day. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the location in late April and had a great time! The weather didn't cooperate the most, but we had plenty to do around the South Bethany Beach area. The house was gorgeous and well maintained. The property owner was there for us immediately with anything that we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Location Location!! Meticulously kept, well appointed canal-front home

Because hurricane Florence was lingering off the coast of North Carolina, the weather interfered with a couple of beach days. No worries, there is plenty to do when the weather didn’t cooperate. One day we visited the Delaware outlets and found fantastic end of summer deals with no sales tax!! We also visited the Nassau winery enjoyed some tastings and purchased wine for the up coming holidays. Rehoboth beach has some wonderful specialty shops and quaint restaurants. In the local papers we found plenty of happy hour specials offered and some had live entertainment. Smitty McGees is a favorite spot to watch the start of the football season offering drink and food specials. This house comes equipped with two kayaks and we enjoyed maneuvering around the canals after enjoying the beach. Also included in this House were 2 bicycles. The flat terrain provided a great opportunity to ride to Bethany’s Main Street where you can visits some local restaurants and specialty shops. This is one of our favorite beach destinations on the East coast and this house was truly a great find!

Great house and location!

We loved this house and the location was amazing. My 14-year-old is finally old enough to go out and about with a friend or cousin rather than a parent, so having bikes there was perfect! He and his friend were on the bikes and off to the beach (bike lock included, bring helmets) 20 minutes after we arrived and never once rode in the car to or from the beach the entire 2 weeks. Instead of computers and smartphones, he and his friend and cousins went out on the bikes before and after dinner every day. They kayaked too! It was the perfect place for an active teen. Parking on S. Ocean for the beach was easy every day! The outdoor shower, grill, great screened porch, garage access for entry and storage, comfy couches, were all loved and appreciated. Just a few improvements we'd recommend: There is not enough storage (for families that don't eat out a lot and do cook and need supplies, not having access to a pantry was a little tough but we made do), The main hall bathroom and each bedroom REALLY need hooks and towel racks - a few on the back of each door would be great - because there was really no place to hang and dry all the towels from each person there. The microwave is a bit small and the rotating mechanism (the track/wheels the glass dish sits on) kept getting wonky and we ended up removing it for the duration. We loved the suite downstairs!! The kids set up their Wii (that we brought with us) on the TV down there so they had a place to be crazy and noisy away from the main living space upstairs. One thing the grandparents noticed was there wasn't really enough clothing hanging space in the suite and a few hooks on the wall or door would be helpful. It was great to have a TV in every room and we brought our smart devices (Roku and Firestick) to be able to access streaming channels. Top bunk in the kids' room was squeaky! And would be so great to have two bunks so 4 kids could stay in there comfortably. But it was a really perfect space for my son and the other kids. Oh, Milk and Honey - a pizza/sub type place up at the corner, is a weird, weird place! But the pizza and the steak and cheese we got there were SO GOOD! The owner is eccentric, they sell stuff in there that looks like a thrift store, but the food was great. (We don't like Grotto.) If you're into sushi: CoCoLi Sushi on Garfield was great for eat-in or takeout. For takeout Chinese, we loved China Express up near Family Dollar. Thanks so much for a great stay, Donna!! We'll be back!

My parents purchased the property in 1995 and our entire extended family has enjoyed many memorable beach days together. Mom unofficially named the house "The Beach Peach."
Dad passed away in 2013, but the Sail Fish he so proudly caught is displayed in the renter's garage.
