Beautiful babbling brook. Very peaceful.

The camper was very well stocked. LED lights are hung outside the picnic table & firepit & on the path down to the brook. Richardson Lake is less than 6 miles down the road.

A gorgeous nature retreat

This was the best of both worlds: camping vibes with the comfort of a super well-equipped RV. A working stove and running water, a large fridge and freezer, plenty of space to move around, and ideal protection against weather. And the bed was so comfortable! Outside, a grill and fire pit and cute walk in the woods to a gurgling brook... Not to mention the stunning surroundings and proximity to part of the Appalachian Trail for a moderate (to challenging) hike and gorgeous view. Agnes and Dave were delightful and helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great stay

I found this and communicated with the owners who stay right across the way from the “campsite.” All communication was excellent before and during our visit. The campsite is perfect and the trailer is very clean and fully stocked with anything you need even some food and coffee, extra necessities etc. I went grocery shopping and never needed anything that wasn’t already there! It was a very nice surprise as we flew in and that saved me a lot of time and money! We spent 6 nights and spent a lot of time with family and friends at other camps so we didn’t do a lot locally! This trip was for my grandson (5) and myself and we were very comfortable and look forward to coming back next year with his little brother! If you have any questions, please email the owner — she is very responsive and detailed! Thank you!

Magical haven in the woods!

You may think, “it’s only a travel trailer.” Think again. This enchanted property is off the road, surrounded by beautiful trees. BBQ pit, picnic table, and fire pit, (with camp wood provided,) provide a great outdoor space to relax with your family or friends. A little magic is added in the way of subtle color-changing LED lights scattered throughout the trees. Or maybe they were just friendly elves. Put down your cell phone. Black Brook is feet away. It probably babbles most of the time, but during our stay it was roaring, and exhilarating to see and hear. Miss Aggy has everything you might need in the RV. Not only is it there for you, but every little cubby is clearly labeled with its contents. You will probably find something that you didn’t think you needed, but will then wonder how you could have gotten by without it. As for the condition of the RV, David and Aggy clearly are very particular. Every appliance, faucet, door, worked perfectly. If you’re considering staying here, jump on it. I managed to beat out another potential guest for another stay. Thank you, Dave and Aggy, for a wonderful experience.

Camper in the woods

Unfortunately we experienced a few down falls of the property. Communication in the beginning was not great. I waited a week for a response and had to reach out to the owner to make sure she saw it. Upon arrival Our first impression did not match what we expected based on the description. based on the description we we’re anticipating a nice wooded lot that led to a river. The lot the camper sits on is surrounded by woods that have been heavily impacted by nature and made it difficult to navigate to the river. If there was a path to the river it was no longer identifiable. The camper was much older than anticipated by the pictures but it smelled clean and there was a cute note for us. as we checked out the kitchen we observed mouse poop throughout the sink and a live mouse sitting in the sink eating something. It definitely made us feel uncomfortable and that the property was not up to cleanliness for us to stay. We notified the owner and advised we would not be staying. The owners responded an hour later advising they took care of the mouse and we could return if we wanted to. We advised them we were uncomfortable and requested a refund. The owner responded it’s a camper in the woods so they would not refund anything to us. When I asked for even a portion she said she only would if they could rebook it. Considering they had just opened the camper the weekend before that would be a long shot. We did not get a refund and would not recommend staying here.

Perfect quiet get away

I really enjoyed my stay at this camper; the space was comfortable and provided a great home base for exploring Andover and the surrounding areas. We really enjoyed walking down to the brook and listening to the water by the campfire. Dave and Aggie were such welcoming hosts to me and my dog Maya. They really made sure that we had everything we needed. The camper was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need including firewood. This property was so peaceful and quiet. Maya really enjoyed her daily nature walk down to the brook and loved the homemade treats. Simply WOW!! Thank you for an amazing time!💕 🐾
