Sugar Pine Chalet is conveniently located 5 minutes from Bass Lake, 10 minutes from downtown Oakhurst and 20 minutes from Yosemite's South Gate - allowing you to enter and explore different parts of the Yosemite Valley, in one trip.

Enjoy a furnished living room with pull out sofa bed, 3 bedrooms/2 baths. Perfect for a couples retreat or a family vacation.

We welcome you to bring your furry little friends. An additional $100 pet cleaning fee will be applied.

Whether you’re looking to hike Lewis Creek, explore Yosemite Valley, soak up the sun at Bass Lake or ski the fresh powder at Badger Pass, you’ll be in the best location to see and do it all. You’ll enjoy outdoor amenities, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit and a comfortable home with all the kitchen supplies needed to make a great dinner or bbq on the grill. You’ll have everything you need to relax and enjoy the mountains. There’s high speed internet for you to be able to work from home and enjoy watching movies. outside seating and more. Convenient, clean, and cozy

We enjoyed our stay at Sugar Pine Chalet. Communication with owner was smooth and the place was even nicer than we expected. Everything was easy to get to- grocery store, Yosemite Valley, etc. We were there in the winter so we didn’t make much use of the outdoor spaces but the wood burning stove was really great to have - just buy your own firewood. One thing to note is that there is no large dining table so we had to make do with a small kitchen table for meals. One morning the power to the whole neighborhood went out, and we had no cell signal or wifi, so I would plan to download important information in advance of your trip.

Great place to stay!

Overall this was an amazing property to stay at. Everything was very open, clean and bright. The hot tub was amazing got very hot which was perfect the fire pit and gas grill we’re both great added additions that made our trip more enjoyable. Location was perfect for us close to town but still far enough away to have scenic surroundings. Linens were clean beds were comfortable you can tell the owner takes pride in their property would definitely rent again and recommend!

Great location

Me and my partnered were in town for a work trip and wanted to see Yosemite so we picked this place and it was only 20 minutes from the Yosemite gate entrance. Not only was it close to the entrance but the house was perfect!! It was clean and looked just like the pictures. The hot tub and the fire pit were a bonus along with the bottle of win and s’mores kit! I would recommend this house to anyone and would love to come back.

Nice house in good location

Loved the house! It was perfect for our party of 5 and it was close enough to enjoy bass lake one day and Yosemite the next. I would recommend the house for sure as the host is very responsive and kind. The only thing to consider is the upstairs rooms don’t have AC which is important to know during California summers and in heat waves.

Comfortable and clean

The property was very comfortable and clean. The upstairs bedrooms were a bit on the hot side. Not sure if there was air conditioning there or not. It didn't feel like much air was coming out of the vents even though they were open. The ceiling fans helped and it was bearable to sleep once the temperature cooled down at night. Overall, we would stay again if ever in the area.

Yosemite Visit

The house was very clean and comfortable. It is very well supplied. The laundry was very helpful. The decks were great and the hot tub was very nice! I recommend this rental to all. We spent 3 days in Yosemite and hiked 35 miles all told!

Relaxing stay!

Very convenient location (20 mins to South Entrance of Yosemite, 10 mins to Bass Lake, 10 mins to downtown Oakhurst)! The property had everything we needed for our stay including cooking materials and extra towels. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day and watching Netflix on the TV in the living room!

Perfect for our family of 5!

Beautifully decorated and spacious. Kitchen was supplied with basics we needed for our stay. A great place to relax after a full day at Yosemite. We played board games provided by the host in the evenings. Hot tub was available and clean. We did not use it during our stay simply because the weather was a little warm.

Coziest Cabin!

This place was perfect! It was the coziest and most welcoming house! We were never board cos they had board games, s’mores, and the jacuzzi. The rooms were clean and comfy. Also love the space on the big balcony! Mariam was flexible and easy to reach. It’s about an hour to the Valley. We were really close to grocery stores. Love this place! Will stay and again and recommend this place over and over!

We LOVED this home!

This experience was everything we hoped for and more. It was a great distance from the entrance of the Yosemite. It was cozy and welcoming. It had great amenities like a hot tub, fire place, s’mores, wine, board games, TV and streaming, cozy blankets and so much more!!! You will not regret this booking :)

Lovely place

My family of 8 came to visit Yosemite from a home base. Loved the hot tub, s’mores & wine provided. Very comfortable and plenty of amenities. Home was Easy to find, but a little further away from things than we’d imagined. Regardless, our host was very accommodating and attentive to questions. We really liked the cabin feel.

Classy, Comfy & Relaxing!

I stayed here with some out-of- state girlfriends for a weekend getaway. The house was clean, and had everything we needed including a delicious bottle of wine & s'mores! We enjoyed cooking & grilling our meals, it's nice to have the choice of 2 outdoor tables or the cute table in the kitchen. Everyone agreed the beds were very comfortable. The linens were good quality & plenty of extra blankets. Comfy couches. The house was spacious & beautifully decorated. We loved the hot tub, and were happy to enjoy a fire in the firepit for the evenings! The backyard feels like a private oasis. Very close to Yosemite, about 15 minutes from the gate. Close to Oakhurst. Mariam was a friendly & helpful host & quick & easy to communicate with. I'll be back for sure!

Perfect Yosemite trip

This was a truly delightful place to stay during our trip to explore Yosemite. We saw deer and turkeys from the porch, were able to relax in the hot tub and hop into nearby Oakhurst for anything we needed.
