Welcome to Mountain Fever! When it is time to get away from it all,
make this gem your home away from home. Whether you are joined by
family or friends, it is the perfect mountain getaway for good times and
lasting memories.
Nestled on top of Blueberry Hill this cabin has it all – hot tub, wood
burning fireplace, fire pit, outdoor gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, king
and queen size beds.
Walk in and relax in the vaulted ceiling living room with a comfy leather
couch and matching chair, and of course the wood burning fireplace.
The smart tv over the fireplace includes free YouTube TV for all your
favorite channels. There's also a DVD player.
The open main level floor plan includes kitchen, dining and living areas.
The kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher,
microwave, coffee maker (drip and Keurig style) and toaster. The
cabinets are stocked with all the cookware and dinnerware you will need
for any meal or snack. The cooking utensils and flatware are also
provided.
The handmade wood dining table has room for four to six to sit
comfortably for meals or game night. There are lots of board games
from which to choose. Just outside on the back deck is a large hot tub
overlooking the woods just waiting for the morning wake-up dip or the
evening soak after a day of mountain hiking!
The main floor bedroom features a queen bed, a smart tv, a DVD player
and a ceiling fan. Just a few steps away, the downstairs bathroom has a
walk-in shower.
Upstairs is the master king bedroom with a smart tv, a DVD player and a
ceiling fan. The master bath features a shower/tub combo. Look over
the railing to the living area below.

Perfect location

Property management was excellent and very responsive. When the coffee pot was not working, they had a new one at the front door within 20 minutes. Could use some updates as the property is aging but I would stay here again.

Hosts were very, friendly and helpful, they gave detailed instructions on how to get to the cabin. Very cute place and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The only item I think should be addressed is the control panel on the hot tub was shorted out so some of the bottons worked different parts for example the jets button turned the light on underwater. They have it labeled so that wasn’t a huge deal plus the hot tub was really our favorite part and is what sold us totally on the property. The only other item and it could just be us now that I’m almost 40 lol... Would be the bed in the upstairs or the (King bed) it was pretty hard and by our second night it kept my wife and I up. So perhaps a mattress topper, other than that place was on point and even had some festive decor for the holiday season.

Anniversary Retreat

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time renting from Georgia Mountain Rentals, not the same cabin though. As always, reservation is easy, cabin is stocked with sufficient supplies and service from GMR staff is excellent. Cabin itself is spacious for just the 2 of us, and the location is convenient to the nature parks and downtown Helen. If you are sensitive to moth balls smell, make sure the cabin is aired out prior to your arrival. The cabin is secluded, however, you can hear others if they are loud outside and their dogs are barking. Other tips for a smooth and enjoyable stay: 1) Keep the front porch light off if you do not want bugs flying into the cabin; 2) Keep the long electronic door code with you at all times; 3) Bring your movies or streaming device as the TV is difficult to find a good channel and the DVD's are old and scratched.

Off the beatin' path, but close to it all.

Overall a good stay. Arrived late the first evening. Hot tub appeared to be off, no power to the display panel, and not very warm. We spoke with the property manager, and someone was there within the hour. He was able to reset the breaker under the deck, and back in business. Not sure if power went out recently, and caused that?? Able to enjoy it that evening after a nice hike. The maint guy also showed us how to use the main TV (not user friendly) YouTube TV is provided with the cabin, but we didn't see any notes indicating that. Once we figured that out, we were able to get local channels and more!. Probably go for a little updating here and there in the near future, but overall the property was well maintained, and clean! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would come back. Cabin is in a very quiet area, with only a few cabins back there. Could barely see them through the trees, even with little/no leaves on the trees in wintertime. Nice easy access with a big deck on the side and back.

It’s super close to Helen and not a horrible drive up the road like most people would anticipate in the mountains. The house is a little bit small but big enough for a small family. The fire pit was easy to light up and also the hot tub worked very good. sherry from the office called us the next day to check and see if we needed anything which I thought was very nice and courteous. we originally had another cabin booked, but due to some changes and travel dates, Sherry was able to accommodate us into this cabin. I recommend this cabin, and would return if I ever came back to Helen.
