Plan a restorative, creative or sporting getaway in this beautiful natural setting. Relax on the deck of this quiet and spacious home, with views of the spectacular Hoodoos and Rocky Mountains year-round.

This home is perfect for family gatherings/ writer/ reader/ yoga/ crafter/ hiking/ cycling/ sporting groups. There’s lots of space in this rancher to spread out, or gather in the large open areas. Fully equipped kitchen. Big boot room for gear storage.

If you need some quiet time, try a meditative walk on the 60’ Chartres style labyrinth on the river plain below. It’s nestled beside a small mountain river, Dutch Creek, with soothing white noise most of the year. In the warmer months, relax with your group in the sheltered outside dining area and watch the sunset on the Hoodoos!

Easy driving distance from Labyrinth Lookout to world class hot pools at Fairmont & Radium, ski hills at Fairmont, Panorama and if you’re an early bird, Kimberley, Fernie and Golden ski hills as well.

Our valley is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts with opportunities for hiking, skiing, bird watching, swimming, golfing, tubing, hang gliding, skating/cross country skiing on the world’s longest outdoor track, the Whiteway to name a few!

Our guests have access to Community Facilities; basketball, volleyball, Frisbee Golf, horseshoe pit, and from May long w/e to September long w/e the community pool.

The trailhead for the Hoodoos, a Nature Trust of BC initiative, is minutes away. This hike leads to gorgeous panoramic views of the headwaters of the Columbia Valley. Nearby as well, is the trailhead for the newly completed 25 km paved cycling/hiking trail from Fairmont in to Invermere.

A short hike from our gate leads to panoramic views of the Hoodoos, Dutch Creek and the Rocky Mountains.

The adjacent Studio/workshop and garden are used intermittently by family/others.

Your puppies (max. 2) are welcome, particularly if they’ve had recent nail care.

Beautiful spot

We had a family gathering and this was the perfect place to stay. The views are beautiful and coffee on the deck in the morning was idyllic. The home is completely kitted out. Great hikes, Fairmont Hot Springs, and Columbia Lake are nearby.

An impeccable place

We couldn't have asked for more. We spend the May long weekend here for my son's 18th birthday along with his friends and our best family friend. Clean and tons of space for all of us. The view from living room and the bedrooms facing the hoodoos and the sound of the water gushing through the creek blew our mind.

Terrific Location - Instant Relaxation

The location was stunning and easily explorable on foot. Great place for activity - we walked the labrynth, followed the creek trails for some geocaching, and enjoyed the games, pool table, puzzles and books. Not to mention a quick drive to hike the hoodoos, and visit a few hot springs too. Our 4 days were relaxing and our host was easy to contact. Perfect get away.

Stephen's home at Dutch Creek exceeded our expectations! It was very spacious, clean, and everything we needed was available for us. The backyard has an incredible view and was perfect for relaxing and an outdoor dinner! We look forward to staying here again next year!

Ladies Golf Getaway

This lovely home in the woods was perfect for our group of senior ladies on our annual golf trip. Although some of our golf was rained out, we enjoyed the wood stove fire and games. The Kitchen is well-equipped for cooking together. The beds are very comfortable and bathrooms spotless. We enjoyed walks in the small community and through the forest.

Great place to hang with friends

Best Home in Dutch Creek (Fairmont Hot Springs)

The owners have set this home up perfectly for four couples and can accommodate up to four kids very comfortably. We especially enjoyed the games room and it was great to venture out on the hiking trails right from the front door.

We had a great vacation. If anything the pictures online don’t do justice to the house and location. The house is large and very well equipped. The air conditioning was much appreciated. The location is absolutely perfect. The family walked down to the adjacent creek daily. The only suggestion for improvement might be a screened area outdoors.

Hidden gem!

This place more than lived up to our expectations. The pictures truly do not do it justice. The best spot is the back deck where you look out onto a river, the labyrinth and the hoodoo mountains. There was plenty of room for more guests and very clean. They had everything you need in the kitchen for cooking and food prep. They also had some outdoor toys for kids. Everything we wanted to do was super close. The AC was a blessing given the bc heat. We would definitely return again!

Amazing!

This house is everything advertised and more! Lots of room for a large family get together, lots of items stocked in the house and very clean. Lovely huge windows off the living room looking directly at the Hoo Doos! The property is amazing, and the deck in the backyard was a great place to unwind after a hot day. The owners are amazing, very easy to contact and checked with us during our stay to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I can’t say enough about this house, my family and I will be back again and again.

Outstanding Stay

It was such a privilege to be able to enjoy this property, our only regret is that we did not have more time to spend in such a gorgeous house. The house is very large and would be great for big groups, but even our little family enjoyed the coziness of the house and the amazing nature literally on the doorstep. Everything is provided that you might need, and it is nice and close to all kinds of activities. We will definitely be back, and hopefully for a much longer stay, for sure we will try and experience the property in winter, I am sure it is stunning. So thankful we were able to experience this home and area.

Comfort and Peace with a View

The Labyrinth Lair was exactly what our family needed. There was plenty of room for everyone, a spacious and well stocked kitchen, lounge chairs galore (inside and out), and a private corner of the wilderness with a river running through it. The pool table and games table were well used, and the A/C was appreciated for the few days we needed it. Meeting the owners was a treat, too! We hope to be back again next year.
